PiMP will include a tool for reading and changing your GPU power profiles in sysfs, which is the current Linux method for manipulating this kind of hardware (more information is available here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ATI#Powersaving). PiMPs 'gputool' will also read and set fan values.

We also include 'atiflash', which may allow you to install a custom vbios, but we dont provide any.

Great question!

We are able to provide Volume Keys to large farms, one key for all your rigs. This will allow you to customize a validated copy of PiMP with your desired configuration, image it, then push the image to all your rigs.

Once the image is on the rig, a couple of easy non-interactive ssh commands to give it a unique agent ID and set the worker names is all that is required. For large farms this could be done farmwide with a small script. 

Please let me know if you have more questions or suggestions about this process. We want to support miners of all sizes, and recognize that large miners have different needs than small ones.

Hey all!


It’s been a wild ride so far, and as our new release enters the final testing phase, I’m confident in stating this is going to be our best work yet.


PiMP has been rewritten from the ground up: we’ve got a new GUI interface; multiple ways to view, adjust, manage and tweak rigs; a new text-based editor; a complete redesign of our deployment module, and more - all wrapped up into a nice package with miner.farm integration.


That’s not all miner.farm does, though. The free version provides:


Monitoring for up to ten miner processes,
Real-time details of all running processes,
Visual problem monitoring,
Graphics, charts, and more!
Sharing of your farm URL for easy reference (or bragging rights)


And our paid version offers even more, including:


Remote control of up two-hundred miners: start and stop them, or switch pools, no matter where you are in the world!
Customizable alert profiles,
Email notifications,
API access for mobile applications,
And advanced access to new features
