I installed Bfgminer 3.1.4 and everything was running fine.
I was tinkering around trying to build bitcoin-qt from source and changed a few things, now I get a bus error: 10 when I try to run Bfgminer 3.1.4 @ command prompt  (terminal) in Mac OS X 10.8.4

How do I fix it? I tried restarting, reinstalling and NOTHING seems to work... I am stuck using Mac Miner for now...

Seems to be an issue with Bfgminer, ran it once on a separate system (10.7 instead of 10.Cool and after shutting it down and restarting it, I get the same bus error and NOTHNG seems to fix it...
What gives?

Possibly, but when I looked at it last, it would be numerous hours to figure out how to build Android's bionic library sensibly.
On top of that, I haven't the slightest idea how to make an Android package or upload it to Google Play, and I suspect doing so might not be possible with free software. Sad

It'd probably be much faster/cheaper to find someone who does regular Android development. Smiley

You don't NEED to upload it to Google play, It's not that hard to download/install an .apk file online. That said Odds are it would be a better idea to get someone with more experience with Android to work on it. I'd pay BTC/Fait for a working Android App that worked with BE/Avalon/BFL/etc and was fairly easy to use.

PS: It's not easy getting Linux to work on Android properly...

If you run BFGMiner with --scrypt, the only .cl file it actually makes use of is scrypt130511.cl, right?

Are diablo, poclbm, phatk and diakgcn only for SHA256?(or at least not for scrypt)

Hello,

I run a linux Ubuntu Quantal 64-bit system. I compiled BFGMiner from the git archive. When I try to get the miner to detect my Block Erupter USB, it doesn't report that anything is available. I tried "-S all" and it refuses to detect anything except my CPU.

Here is some diagnostic output:

$ ./bfgminer -D -T -d? -S all

Trying to move from cgminer to bfgminer with 60 BE stick farm.

Initial test with 2 sticks does not look promising.

Um, I installed the USB to UART (WinUSB) drivers, using zadig utility. That's why cgminer is working. Does BFGminer expect a different set of drivers?

First, be sure you have rebooted or replugged the device after running cgminer, if you have run it (it corrupts the driver).
If that's not the problem, try the command in README:
Code:
sudo modprobe cp210x   vendor=0x10c4 product=0xea60
Finally, if it still doesn't show up, please post the output from:
Code:
lsusb -vv
ls /dev/ttyUSB*
lsmod
dmesg

Yes. You will have to uninstall the WinUSB drivers, reboot, and install the SiLabs drivers for BFGMiner to work. If you will be running 60 BE units, use the 64-bit version if your machine is set up for it. All your hubs should be sufficiently powered and preferably USB 3.0
