Best online wallet

Just interested in people's opinions on the best online wallet.

Sure i want security - but don't want a 20 digit password they generate meaning I have to carry it around.

Got my android wet - so that isn't a solution yet

having all coins in a pc wallet (the default one from  Bitcoin - using qt software)

PC only wallet scares me - hardrives crash, and as I've read lately unless you backed up recently, it seems you have lost coin?
Lose your laptop completely, and it is all gone!!

Thus the online (non scam) wallet.

Any suggestions?

My favorite is Blockchain.info's wallet, but it does require a password.

blockchain.info is great, but you still should back up your wallet (they have several options for doing this)

Thanks I will give it another try - it does have that 40 character user name - so using from a computer that doesn't save cookies is out.

Also I dismissed it for a dumb reason, somehow I got the language ticker (upper right) changed to german (i'm in usa) - and the hassle of translating every page turned me off.  I feel kinda dumb when i realized what I had done.

Will give it another serious look, thanks for the advice.

Do people have multiple wallets - with amounts split between them for safety?  Too bad no such thing as FDIC bitcoin wallet   And the scammers get all the press.

All you need is bookmark the wallet, if you bookmark it on two computers and only small sums for spending, you should be happy with this solution

I agree with most, go with Blockchain.info. I do enjoy using Electrum as a desktop client.

Blockchain.info is the easiest to use and most accessible. They offer 2 factor authentication.

Instawallet charges its users for using their service and they have control over all the funds.

The safest wallet is a paper one. You can generate a paper waller here www.bitaddress.org

Yeah, seems really risky. Especially considering all successful hacks.
