BOSON - a subatomic particle, such as a photon, that has zero or integral spin and follows the statistical description given by S. N. Bose and Einstein.
BOSON is a decentralized, cryptographic currency, includes a number of innovations which will push crypto-currencies to the next stage.  
The network is composed of clients, seeders and hatchers, the functions of which will be explained in this announcement.  Any node can take task in one, or any combination of these roles dependent on the users wishes.

Specifications

- X11 hash algorithm, and PoW/PoS mixed.
- 3 transaction confirmations
- 40 minted block confirmations
- total coins will be 5 billions.
- PoS will be generated on a daily basis.
- 5% premine for bounties and dev expenses.

PoW details:
- 90 sec PoW block target time
- difficulty retarget each block for PoW
- initial payout will be 1000 coins per block.
- every 5 days there will be a super block with 1000X normal payment (can be as high as 1,000,000 coins)
- block payout will be halved every 2 years, minimum PoW payment will be 1 coin / block.

PoS details:
- 60 sec PoS block time
- diff retarget each block for PoS
- minimum hold for PoS: 24 hours
- maximum hold for PoS: 30 days
- variable PoS annual payout rate:
   - 1st year: 50%
   - 2nd year: 30%
   - 3rd year: 10%
   - and subsequent years: 5%

One last Follow up: how do I know if I am really mining? my WU:is 0.00 and my best share is 0. people always say you don't get best share while solo mining but I always get shares when solo mining and get blocks. but I'm just seeing zeros across the board except the hash rate is 16 mh/s

You are unlikely to hit a block solo mining until the early nicehashers (me) get bored of burning cash on huge premine clones. So sometime around when I get off work and cancel my order.

Solo minning if you try mine in wallet the diff must be very low almost 0.00000000 to heat so minning is worth in the first couple of minut .

I downloaded the git-repository, but I was not able to build it.
QT Creator complained about missing kits.

The INSTALL file is talking about a doc folder that is not present in the git-repository.

Is something missing in git, or is it something with the configuration of QT Creator that I don't get?

You need to add your locations of the library files in qt.pro file, in the location where it says:

After that it build.

On linux you just need daemon, which you can build by slightly modify one of the makefile in the src dir. Unless you want to run UI, then you will need to build the QT.

I think you can put in the config file like this (this is my config file):
