i can confirm they are very active in their slack chat channel and that they have new ico planned soon.

For the people, like myself who invested at the start of the year,  trading is meant to go live by Christmas.  But id rather Equibits did not launch into this blood bath for alts.  Id rather wait a few more months and see it trading in Spring 2018.

Yes, that's nice. But also keep in mind that the ICO was in January 2017 and that the value of BTC went x7 until now and was x18 at the ATH while the token is still on no exchange. With other words: Something went really wrong here and the bonus is not that much to compensate the missed opportunity of still holding on to the invested BTC. I still hope this project might turn out as a good one but it was a mistake to invest that early.

To be honest, I must agree with you at this point. From another side, we don't really know how the market will react when a platform goes live and what price we can expect.
