Many countries will not want to be friendly with bitcoin but they know that they will be blamed by the technologically developed countries around the world. They also fear their own citizens because they will use their coins in stores outside of their borders. Generally many times in the past if a country tried to stop technology and development they did not succeed in doing anything

Bitcoin isn't wanted as it allows people to enjoy financial freedom, but that's however not the case for the technology that powers Bitcoin. If you look at how much money is being invested in researching and development of their own version of the blockchain, then it's fairly safe to assume that they like it a lot. Some countries are more paranoid than others, but in general, no country likes to see money flowing from their country to another. As soon as they notice that serious amounts of money are flowing out of the country through Bitcoin, then they will surely put a stop to it at some point.

This seemingly doesn't make sense

What you say basically comes down to claiming that while governments may not quite like Bitcoin and don't want to accept it as a legitimate means of payment, they still don't love the situation when bitcoins are flowing out of their countries? If they were really hostile toward Bitcoin, they should be just happy in the case there were no more bitcoins left in the country. How come?

yes all regulatory issues. when there is a rule governing bitcoin it will be very easy to develop bitcoin. bitcoin still not gain the trust of a state government. they are still frightened by the various impacts that can be generated by bitcoin.

i think the main thing is the trust of the users, if bitcoin gain the trust of the users hope that people will put pressures on governments to regulate bitcoin solving all issues related to it. hope very soon we are going to hear that bitcoin is now a legal currency in most of the countries and governments are supporting it.

China hadn't accepted bitcoin as their legal currency, just yet. As far as I know, China is considering bitcoin as a virtual commodity, not a currency and it's a little bit different. It's like a digital thing but having value  to fiat. Though, China are seem to having interest on considering bitcoin as an official alternate currency in their country but it's just too far away to happen because RMB is enough for them i guess

There are so many bitcoin friendly countries. USA, austria, belgia, holand, bulgaria, kanada, colombia, swiss, argentina, denmark, liberland, france and so many more. But all those countries were only regulated the transaction which use bitcoin, they still use their national fiat as payment option beside allow the people to use bitcoin. Atleast it is proof that bitcoin is getting more popular and stronger.
Yeah there definitely are a lot of Bitcoin friendly countries. Most of them allow people to use Bitcoin, but they are still regulated and it is not like you can do whatever you want. Even with those regulations, people do illegal activities with them and therefore, some countries might not be so Bitcoin friendly in the future.

Singapore is one of the most Bitcoin-friendly countries. Switzerland is another one. The government tolerates the use of Bitcoins. On the other hand, a guy was detained in France after a policeman heard him uttering the word "Bitcoin".
Do you have link to the news regarding policeman detaining guy who utter the word "bitcoin" ? I don't think this was the real situation there.

Surprised not to see china in this list however government doesn't seem to care much about bitcoin mining farms situated in china and you can see majority of buying volume coming from china which suggest china being one of the bitcoin blooming country.

Surprised also. Are this legitimate news or are they just hiding the truth? I guess it is because some of their industries are banned in the use of bitcoin.

i think china , i have read that in china bitcoin accepted as legal currency and used a payment

Not only in China but Singapore also got bitcoin ATMs and one can exchange their fiat money to buy bitcoins either for investment or for buying something. I didn't understand the meaning of legal currency? If country allowed having an ATM means they have accepted bitcoins right?

you are right. very many countries that have received the bitcoin, even those developing technologies related to bitcoin. maybe it will bring them closer to the current progress, and I feel it would be a better country than before. Well, I hope that my country could accept bitcoin well.

It's difficult to answer such question but I can share situation in Croatia.
We just got first 2 bitcoin ATM in our country.
Some offline merchants already accept Bitcoin as payment method and many more merchants online.
We have local Bitcoin exchange, regular meet ups etc.
In media we can already find some good articles about Bitcoin.
It's not much but it's the beginning Smiley

It looks like situation in Croatia is very similar that we have in Lithuania. Few weeks ago first bitcoin ATM started to work. We have few exchanges and some startups, which are already popular worldwide. Some online shops accepts bitcoin. One network of physical shops of electronics and home appliances started to accept bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a great currency but that does not mean we can do whatever we want with it, even if bitcoin is not regulated in your country, I’m sure you are not allowed to commit crimes because of it, for example if gambling is illegal in your country using bitcoin instead of fiat does not change anything it is still a crime.

Right it will always defends on the users conscience and beliefs. Bitcoin should not be the one to ban ,the users must know that its their crime they just. However because bitcoin is really beneficial to everyone who uses it we can earn, transfer and transact anywhere some where using it illegally.

Bitcoin gives us freedom to transact online without limitation and that benefits it's users, banning bitcoin will not help us and would not help a country, people are earning online with different ventures and such earning will still be spent to buy basis needs so the government will still benefit on the tax of what we buy.
