I guess that would answer the question. I think the next phase would be the migration procedure itself (resetting passwords by emails and etc...)

Good, can't wait for the migration!

If they published this news, it means the new forum is almost done and most of us obviously use working emails.
Just hope multiple account user for signature campaign/sell still have their working emails 

Maybe we can expect better security such as 2FA and working secret question.

I'm willing to bet the opposite, most accounts do not have working emails, thus the warning...

Better security will most likely be present, this is the Bitcoin Forum after all...

You'll have to link your account to a new email I presume, just create one, no ?
Or do you need access to the old one to link the account to a new one?

Yeah, that's a simple process, but I feel very lazy. In my mind, creating an email address is associated with a big pain . Anyway, I'll do it when I'll have some time. Before which point must it be done ? I wouldn't like to lose my account ...

2FA is only for people who can't keep their passwords safe. It should be optional. I don't see a plus in requiring a working e-mail address. It reduces privacy.

I fear the new forum will make intensive use of JavaScript, which is a nightmare for any speed / security oriented user.

No, 2FA is for everyone (at least for everyone worried with security).

You can have an anonymous email address and only use an address for the forum, many people do that (hence the warning for verifying if the email address is valid. And because many people use a fake one too).

You can already see on the beta website how the forum will be (more or less). I've tried it a few times and I don't think it's slow.

Well, unamis76 and you don't agree. I'm not at all interested in testing the beta or whatever else. I'll move to the "new" forum when that'll be mandatory. I hope that at that time I will be able to use a throwaway email account as theymos said.
