But what could be is that banks will obviously use Bitcoin to get more profits, so we can expect the emergence of paper bitcoins, i.e. not real bitcoins but just promissory notes. We have already been there, and it didn't end well. I mean gold certificates that many banks issued in the amounts by far exceeding the amount of gold they actually had in their vaults.
