If you got surplus cash and don't need them buy, but my advice would be to buy it monthly or weekly as and when price goes up and down. Say fix a certain day and certain amount and buy that much. Depends on what you prefer, if you prefer to buy lower then you can wait for some bad press and buy bitcoin when it price go down.  If you want to hold one asap then you don't have to wait, go to your local bitcoins and buy it. 

A glimpse on the market movement means that bitcoin at this point is playing at a floor around 710 USD to 750 USD,  so if you are lucky and patient enough you buy at 710 USD but that is not guaranteed because price of bitcoin is unpredictable.

The price of bitcoin is too expensive right now according to preev price it is still in $730. but if you can you wait for more weeks or days just to observe the price of bitcoin will increase more soon to buy for better price or lower price of bitcoin you should wait..

If I didn't need some money when the price was still at $650, I swear I would have continued to hold. That was also a good time to buy when the price was just starting to rise. Actually the best time to buy was when everyone was getting bored when the price "hibernated" at the $600 levels. You must be wrong. I believe this is must be a right time to buy more bitcoins as price are seeming very stable and may test $1000 levels by next month itself. If you are ready to hold then you may see some 200% profits also in very short term itself. Buy now and simply hold, that is my suggestion.

It all depends on the intentions of the person in question. If looking for a short term investment, then I would also say that it's better to keep waiting on the side lines for the price to drop further (which is exactly what I think will happen).

Well this is good for those who know how to trade .  You cannot advice people to day trade if they don't know how to do it.  This is just telling a fish to climb a tree lol.  

For a long term holder, it does not matter if you buy BTC now or buy it next month.  Bitcoin price is going up anyway.  Though it may have dips during those increase, it will still profitable if you intend to sell your BTC after 5 or 10 years of holding (assuming BTC price  will continue to rise).  But stay observant, we cannot tell what will happen in the future.

Indeed, now is the right time to buy because the current price remain stable and predicted would increase and possibly reach $800 in December. Whenever before the price reach $1000 is the good time to buy if you looking for profits by sell it, I prefer to buy and saving bitcoin for long term.

Indeed, now is the right time to buy because the current price remain stable and predicted would increase and possibly reach $800 in December. Whenever before the price reach $1000 is the good time to buy if you looking for profits by sell it, I prefer to buy and saving bitcoin for long term.

Current price is definitely not the right time to buy coins at. I find the price to be somewhat on the higher side where the price is also due for a correction. People that are either holding their coins that they bought way below the current prices, or cashing out their profits, are doing the right thing. I find buying right now to be too risky. If you want to buy coins anyway, then at least make sure you understand the risks.

Yeah perfect we can buy the bitcoins before the value drops. I guess most of the holding the bitcoins now make profit on coming Christmas pump. Decide your wish and do whatever you want.

I think this is not a good idea that you buy bitcoins in the present price. there is no assurance that the price will increase more soon.. but if the price will decrease even exact 700 value i think the price will going to increase again and hit 730 above.
Since the price of bitcoin is keep rising i think there is no problem to buy right now but if the price not increase instead it decreases happen you need to wait again for months to recover or to sell bitcoin to make a profit..

Whatever you do, don't buy bitcoin at the beginning of a year. Because, ya know, it could nearly double at the end of that same year, soundly beating all other investment vehicles on the planet.

Yeah, you're right. Bitcoin couldn't possibly double again its current value by the end of next year, now could it?  

And the "lowest point" now would be what, exactly?  The lowest point was when it was launched, was it not?

That's what we seeing right now, the price got rises in the beginning of December and it's seems crazy to me, I mean woow we should see the price hit $800 this month coz the price now at $771. Now, I regret sold some of my btc few days ago.

Buy whenever you want. It all depends if you have the disposable cash in order to buy any.
I don't buy based on the price anymore or I will be chasing the price like a dog trying to chase it's own tail.

So OP, did you buy any?  From when this thread got started, you'd have made a nice profit.  The answer to the question should have been yes.  As to whether we should buy now...yeah, I think we're headed up for a while.

The beauty of bitcoin is fluid entrance point - what I mean by that you basically can buy bitcoin whenever you feel like it and still be a winner.
If you can wait long enough and don't focus on short term gains then you will most certainly profit from BTC. I advise all my friends to buy at least 1 Bitcoin and hold it.
Potential profits in the future could be overwhelming compared to money invested in BTC now.

The people who invested at $1000+ in 2013 might not agree.
The advice given to investors in equity markets might hold true for BTC as well - invest in small quantities over a period of time. It helps you average out the volatility.

Depends on the purpose. if you're going to use it for paying stuff or anything else then it's not going to be a problem for you but different if it was for investing purpose. buying at the current highest price will be more likely suicide attempt to doom your wallet and your personal economy
