a .10 investment in getting listed on Yobit would have made the most sense. Now the coin is stuck in Bargain Basement Heaven.

Dear All,

We are already working on adding Kurrent into more exchanges,
however this is not our priority at this stage.
Once we get listed you surely will know ;-)

Best Regards

I don't think it has anything to do with botnets but more about balance. That's why I like the equihash and cryptonote algorithms generally more cause they're more newcomer friendly for people who want to do mining and don't have to buy any extra equipment if want to do the basics across a network or a few of your own personal machines. I don't see the difference between someone running a hive of asics/gpus in an office or someone's garage to hoard hashpower and someone renting easy to find network equipment or servers to run across a vm network, even if the latter isn't as powerful it's certainly a more convenient style of management this way.

Ok so you don't know when it's going to be listed but even if it gets listed by next week how different is this from the other similar cryptocurrencies that have been forked? Why should I attempt  investing in Kurrebt and not the other already existing alt coins? Thank you.

1. it is already listed, you can trade it on Cryptopia
2. you have all the info about the coin - make your own mind. Nobody is forcing you to invest here

I thought the same question, why I am interested in this coin, and why not others (well I am investing a bun of them). But this one caught my eye with some new features and especially it sounds like the dev team is committed for long term. As long as they are committed and keep improving and adding new features, I will feel comfortable with it. I don't like those coins which devs do a quick pump and dump and then left.

I think X11 asic exist, but pretty expensive. I don't see it as common as scrypt or sha256.
