My LTC mining build - looking for any tips/advice

Hi. I'm quite new to Bitcoin and crypto-currencies in general, but after weighing the risks and potential benefits, I've decided to go ahead and start LTC mining.

Here are the parts I've ordered:

So, I just have a few questions that hopefully someone can answer..
I found the consolidated LTC mining guide, are there any critical pieces of information I need that aren't in there?
I chose the 7970's mostly because the other good LTC mining cards were very hard to find, but is it possible that their mining performance will increase with better software/drivers?
Anything else that might be helpful?

Yes, drivers and different miners are very important.
Some drivers can crush your mining, and some miners can be a lot faster than others

Your RAM and motherboard aren't compatible.

You showed me DDR2 RAM, but your motherboard only takes DDR3.

Your computer won't run at all.

I don't know if you are only going to be mining on the comp, but you could have done a lot better as far as price/khps goes.

Thanks for the input guys. I can't believe I missed the DDR2/DDR3 thing... Fortunately I was able to correct it since the order hasn't shipped.  When planning this out, I was pretty much going for max khps, and I hadn't even really thought of doing a 6 GPU setup. I'd like to mine long-term, but if that doesn't work out as expected... my gaming rig has been overdue for an upgrade, so I figure it's a win-win situation.

I used to love PC PnC PSU until they got bought by OCZ now I use Corsair and I love my AX1200i

When you look for some new RAM, I'd suggest using the memory-finder tool on Newegg just to be sure they're compatible.  Just enter the mobo model number in and it'll give you a complete list.  Also make sure that your RAM frequency is compatible with the CPU as well as the motherboard, some CPUs will get destroyed if the RAM has too high a speed.

How do you drive all 6 cards with that board? Am I missing something?

You can use adapters like this one to run x16 cards from x1 slots:
