We hope everyone enjoyed the New Year’s break. In the January Development Update 2018 we outline the details for the remainder for January. The plan is to deal with house-keeping and bring outstanding development matters to a close.

Contract Deployments
The ETH price increased significantly over the course of 2018. As a result the minimum bet for vDice has, in dollar terms, become quite large.

It is worth remembering that vDice processes all bets directly on-chain. So bet processing, in dollar terms, has increased. With bet processing on-chain, vDice was never meant to capture the micro-transaction part of the market.

Decentralization comes with cost and overhead. In exchange there is the benefit of censorship resistance.

Regardless, we will be responding to demand and deploying new contracts with lower minimum bet, to allow for lower value betting. These contracts will be deployed this month, and will exist on the network in addition to the existing contracts with higher minimum bet.

I dont think that it will make much difference until they dont lower the betting value , their wont be more gamblers to gamble here.

I assume this thread is dead and the fate of the project too, VSL price has dropped too much after less to no update from the team.Its been more than 1.5 years and I still doubt to see anything competitive coming up from the team.

You should have sold it when the price was an all-time high of 40k satoshi on liqui and it never reached that peak again.After liqui delisting there is a liquidity problem and someday coinmarketcap too may remove from their list.

Very sad for investors, when I invested with Edgeless, it's one of the competitor that time and the price was even higher than EDG at one time
but look at the price now, there no volume and no good exchange addition, I was not able to follow this project closely but it like a failed project to me.

This project failed due to developer not taking suggestions from the players as i have seen in past lot of players were complaining about the minimum bet amount to decrease but they did not listened and today see this project got failed and who ever invested are in loss. I am also holding the bounty coins as i thought that in long term this project should be very success.

They somehow got access to the vSlice Medium site and Etherscan Account and created 100million new VSL.

I have been in contact with one of those scammers on their telegram site and he lied to me several times,
one time he said that the new tokens cant be traded right now, but on

they have selling orders for 21million coins for a total of 3Eth (which tells me they are here for small gains).

I think the VSL Team is dead by now, but the www.vdice.io site is still here and maybe some players will start playing again in the future and the tokenprice could go
up. So i wouldnt give the tokens to the scammers.

I dont understand how they got access to Medium and Etherscan. I think the VSL Devs chose a bad password and used the same for both accounts.
