Christmas ContestIn Age of Chains, we find ourselves in a distant future, billions of years away, at a time where our galaxy collides with the Andromeda Galaxy. Throughout billions of years, contrarian evolutionary concepts have established themselves throughout each galaxy, now resulting in a clash of galactical cultures. This Christmas contest dives into your imagination: How do you envision this collision of the two galaxies?Which values have risen to the top in our galaxy? How do you envision our galaxy in some billions of years? To participate in the contest, simply post your descriptive elaboration of the answers to the above mentioned questions as a post in this thread. Whoever comes closest to what we imagine for our lore will win one Woodcoin's Guardian card (see below). The game lasts until the end of December this year, CET time. We are looking forward to learn about your inspirative thoughts Woodcoin's Guardian (GUARDIANCARD)

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Fun game. OK, here's my idea:
The evolutionary concept of our galaxy is individuation; the survival of the fittest. Genetic variants survive if they can find a niche in which they can make use of the resources of the ecosystem they are in more efficiently than competitors, then they seek to expand their territory. Dominant species, such as humanity, use economic competition to expand their individual lifespan, territory and power through technology. God-like individuals, living thousands of years, may dominate many worlds.
The evolutionary concept of the other galaxy is collectivism. Genetic variants are allowed to survive only if they are useful to the established ecosystem. Symbiosis, and its shadow parasitism, are the order of the day. Planet-wide intelligences draw together individual species in harmonious conflict free wholes, but individual freedom is non-existent. Rather than being based on the manipulation of inert matter, ‘technology’ is based on genetics and the use of highly specialised species breed especially for their task.
The clash is therefore between beings which consider a planet to be simply a resources for individuals to use, and those which consider individuals, and even whole species, to be simply a resource for planets to use.
Interesting thoughts, I like it!

I sense big potential for this game if it's executed well. Will there be other ways to invest in Age of Chains? An ICO or other rare tradables released to investors pre-release?

I sense big potential for this game if it's executed well. Will there be other ways to invest in Age of Chains? An ICO or other rare tradables released to investors pre-release? Glad you enjoy it. We will be giving out more rare cards throughout time helping us to secure continuous development while at the same time being a great way for our early supporters to participate and benefit. We also plan an ICO which we would like to postpone as much as we can to make sure it will be as successful as possible. In the meantime, we are working hard towards achieving our milestone of securing an initial fundraising round of ~$500k and are looking forward to the FounderX program which is solely geared towards achieving this goal and which starts in January. The next card will be released within the upcoming days - it represents a very powerful blockchain - guess which one

The pre-release term implies u dont get goodies before the release date which is when something is said to be released. Though u can negotiate with the prison staff the pre-release of a criminal which means he will be freed on parole. Freeing the thug before he has served the full sentence is not a good idea. I hope u will get fun hanging out with him.

Please, make ICO on Liqui ...
If we will host an ICO, we will use the Counterparty protocol. As we are not developing our own blockchain I do not see any need for using Liqui.io. What makes you desire having an ICO on Liqui.io?

Thank you, Boobies (great name!)! Many people that have played Magic have articulated that our game recalls related memories - we find this a huge compliment and definitely aim to delivering you at least as much fun as you had back then playing MTG. Looking forward to revealing the next card!

The cosmic signal has stabilized - we now have a clear image of the entity that seems to have gotten in touch with us for peaceful collaboration. We are overly reverent by the capabilities that this entity seems to inherit.. We proudly present: Card 002: Tau the Time TravellerOn his path to truth, Tau the Time Traveller journeys the universe in timeless and interdimensional ways. Tau the Time Traveller will be among the most powerful and rarest cards available for the game.Only 8888 Tau the Time Traveller cards will ever exist. The distribution of the card is organized in multiple tiers and priced as follows: Tier 1: 222 cards for $10 each. Tier 2: 444 cards for $15 each. Tier 3: 111 cards for $20 each. Tier 4: 55 cards for $50 each. Tier 5: 11 cards for $100 each. The other cards will not be sold directly and are going to become accessible by purchasing card packs. The chances of receiving a Tau the Time Traveller card within a card pack will be way below 1%. 10 units will be put aside for promotional activities. The card can be bought through the Age of Chains - Official Swapbot: Tau the Time Traveller. We are currently in Tier 1.Secure yourself one of the few available Tau the Time Traveller cards now: -----> Get a Tau the Time Traveller Card. <-----To make sure that we will get the card out to a variety of people, we will load up the swapbot multiple times per tier with only with a few cards. So if you find the swapbot being out of stock, just check back once in a while to see if it got refilled. We wish all our supporters an amazing time travel into the new year!
May all your dreams come true.

Happy New Year to all and thank you for the huge support! Tau sold so fast, we had to restock the swapbot within the first minutes - we feel honored to have such a supportive community already! If you have not done so yet, you can get your first Age of Chains cards here: Deckbound is very different. Not only differ their game mechanics a lot from ours, but also are their cards algorithmically generated. We instead carefully craft the abilities of each individual card for achieving a truly unique gaming experience and well complementing card decks. Additionally, on a technical level, they are using bitbind for creating their cards, while we are using Counterparty which in my eyes has many benefits, such as already having an established and user friendly infrastructure to easily trade your cards on the open market. We are following agile development principles within the development of our game - while we currently fund development through the direct sale of cards, we additionally aim at raising ~$500k in funds from angel investors / venture capitalists and for that are participating in an invite-only program for graduates of the Founder Institute geared towards securing an initial fundraising round. Ultimately, we also aim at holding an ICO that will enable us to raise even more funds to achieve our goal. Nice card. Intergalactic consciousness - I think maybe I wasn't so far away with my guess about the different universes, I just didn't think big enough.
