I've been mining on Coinotron for the last 3 days, and I just noticed that I haven't received a single payout, or PPC registered as earned in my Coinotron log in section, despite cgminer looking properly and saying that my shares are being accepted. This is what is in my bat file.

cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://coinotron.com:3333 -u Delicieuxz.deli -p something

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Does coinotron show valid shares were accepted? Is your minimum payout level at the minimum or higher they specify on the front page chart?

Coinotron shows nothing as being received on the site, but cgminer was reporting the shares as accepted the entire time.

There is no stratum support for PPC yet so try regular old getwork without stratum on port 8322 or 9322.

You are connecting to the wrong port, so the shares you are submitted all all invalid for the blockchain.

We have started a PPCoin pool !
Important information:
1. You can use any BTC miner
2. On our website choose worker type PPC. Point worker to coinotron.com, port 8322 or 9322.

And like Keninishna said, there's no stratum for PPC. Connect to http://coinotron.com:9322 instead and I bet you'll start seeing shares appear.

You guys are right and that has got it work, much thanks. I couldn't find an explanation to set it up on their site, so I was just fumbling about.

Yeah it's be nice if there was a simple consolidated list on their site for all coins/servers/ports/settings. Smiley Glad you are mining!
