is aguariuscoin is still alive

Seems pretty alive to me:

Though it'll be interesting to know who is running wallet in Saudi Arabia. Cheesy

Maybe its some Saudi prince that  has a gut feeling what ARCO will be about in the upcoming years.

Water is amost more expensive than oil so i would say a smart prince.

I think there's something wrong with the chain.
No one generates a block, except AYv8uCJ88aLKLwBawjPPJrqdkRWyGDSLcs.
I think I'll dump all my 42000 coins tomorrow because it makes no sense anymore to keep the wallet running and trying to stake without finding any block.
Sad... ARCO was a great coin Sad

Jure, something is wrong. I am resyncing my wallet, because I stopped staking on July 30 at about 9:12 pm Czech time.

I think there's something wrong with the chain.

Yeah...

I already saw that the developers...
Just one thought is their address
I have no more confidence in them Angry

I'm pretty sure this is not intentional.

My wallet is synchronized, but I got no stakes anymore Sad
How is it possible that only one address finds all the blocks?
Maybe it's a problem of nearly all POS coins? Because ARCO is also "only" cloned from other POS/POW coins...
I've no explanation for this phenomenon and it seems that the dev's aren't interested to investigate/trying to solve it.
So, I think that will be the death of ARCO...

Resynching a node from scatch to see if it gets stuck at checkpoint at block 399999.

Meanwhile @krile is looking at a potencial bug in the code.

Based on current findings this is some sort of an attack. We will do our best to try to find what was actually exploited.

We will keep you updated.

Bug discovered. New release will follow in a few hours. I have requested maintenance on Cryptopia not shure however about how many years it will take with Yobit.

Bug discovered. New release will follow in a few hours. I have requested maintenance on Cryptopia not shure however about how many years it will take with Yobit.

So, it took some minutes for Jure and krile to react and some ~2 hours to discover the bug (while Jure is on vacation with his family, and God knows what krile does, but it isn't "not interested in solving it"). It doesn't even matter if the issue will be solved NOW (or in few hours, or if they really found the issue). What matters is how people are reacting to something, which is here for quite some time and haven't promised anything. This is not Ethereum or TheDAO (like there's a difference.....) with their millions in funds. If you want "much development and such reactions" - go with ETH, but if you are looking for honesty and integrity, then please find some other token/coin (no matter if it'll be ARCO).

You people are bunch of wankers, who are more interested in making money, instead of supporting digital currencies. Make money - nothing bad in it, but make the difference as well. ARCO was doing well so far, but you all remained silent. All of a sudden your stakes are not that good and you started crying, eh? Participate in the project, make suggestions, tell Jure, krile or me that we're shitheads.

But you'd better prove your point when saying it!!!

Long story short, bug found, network will fork, update wallet now.

A bit longer story, AYv8uCJ88aLKLwBawjPPJrqdkRWyGDSLcs is sending blocks from the future, about 500 seconds from the future on average. ARCO should reject these blocks but there was a line in the code allowing up to 10 minutes drift - a mishap from the last big v2 upgrade I assume. Since other honest nodes are using the correct time, they are always behind the attacker (although it might not be an attacker, might just be someone with the time set wrong lol Smiley )

There will be a fork this evening August 2nd, 2017 at 19:00 (GMT). Unix time: 1501700400

Upgrade your wallets before then to avoid having to do a complete resync.

Version 2.0.1
Protocol 60016

Source: https://github.com/AquariusNetwork/ARCO
Windows: https://github.com/AquariusNetwork/ARCO/releases/tag/v2.0.1
Mac: Sorry, you will have to wait longer for an update

Expect the official announcement and updated ANN tomorrow (today) morning when staysecure comes online.

Cheers

P.S. my advice, if you use Yobit withdraw your coins now, it usually takes them months to update a wallet Cheesy

Seednodes updated, blockexplorer @fairglu informed by @krile.

Cryptopia informed and they are super fast like real time and they will update asap.

Yobit coin maintenance ticket opened. (dont get your hopes up here last update took like half a year with countless efforts from @spartak)

CryptoDAO admin informed.

Network is back to normal, not shure if attacker has given up or got stake outweight.

Please update your wallets asap or you wil need to resynch from scratch.

Cheers.

Great job guys! I have updated my wallet, but 2 weeks remain to catch up and I suspect I won't sync before 7 pm GMT. Hopefully all will be good though.

...

How did you come up with this conclusion?

I came to the conclusion because no one needs a coin where only one person can stake/mine coins.
Furthermore, I thought after some days without any response from the devs, they aren't interested anymore in ARCO.

But finally, I was totally wrong. I'm very sorry for my thoughts. They finally did a great job. Sorry (again) and thanks for solving the issue!

I canceled my sell order and resynchronized my wallet for staking...
