Wallet Problem

I have the Android Bitcoin Wallet app on a BB10 device.  I have not backed up the wallet in two months but the app now keeps crashing and will not open.  Is there any way I can save or access the wallet.dat?  I cannot back it up as the app wont stay open long enough to back up the wallet.

I really can see no way of accessing my BTC.

I have an older back up of the wallet.  Can I just open a new wallet and restore the wallet with the old back up?  Will current BTC that are not part of the back up make it to the new wallet?

I don't know many things about that device but if it has function of cache removing or data removing, than hope it will works. You are in a very bad situation. If it would be on android, percentage of solving problem would be higher but I suggest you to contact that app's creators and find solution with them.
If you are using offline wallet, than I am afraid but maybe your bitcoins will be lost forever.
Download any other 3rd party app and it will be possible to create backup of your current wallet and than try it on another similar device and than sent that bitcoins in more secure place.
