We should really get some people together and get a bytecoin exchange going.

im watching new boston java script tutorials as fast as i can but im still a ways away from doing something like that. I really want to learn how to make an all virtual currency exchange but i have a lot to learn first.

I can help you with server management , css and html development. I also don't mind providing the servers for the exchange at the start. Have fun learning JavaScript.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

you seem to have quite a bit of experience with and interest in alt coins. Do you see there as being a place in the market for a 1:1 copy of bitcoin? of course its not like you could make a dozen of them and expect people to keep adopting them but it seems like theres a pretty good chance, atleast to me, that there is room in the altcoin market for atleast one bitcoin clone. anyway let me know what you think, im very curious.

I could imagine that if/as the difficulty and price of bytecoin goes up, if it becomes established, there may then be appetite for another clone, just as there seems to be appetite for bytecoin with bitcoin hard to mine and 'expensive'. Something the market will determine in due course.

ya this is true. In my mind bytecoin doesn't really have any utility yet, bitcoin fees are still so low they are non prohibitive. Im just speculating on what i think may happen when bitcoins fees do become high enough to be a problem for certain uses, like for example tipping in redit. If it ever comes to that then new speculators will arise to speculate on what happens when bytecoin fills up with capital and people once again need a new chain. I think it would be a little bit crazy though to bet anything on a third clone until people begin to actually use the first clone for, what i perceive to be, its legitimate function (that is to say not speculation).

I agree. Re fees and tipping, isn't bitcoin divisible by 100,000,000 ? So I guess the fees will just get smaller and smaller as the price of BTC rises ( in $ terms )

Oh, I think I misunderstood the rate, 7 BTC ?

you offered 0.00998 that bought up everyone right up the list until the full 8500 was filled. I apologize if i was in someway unclear =(

here is how i came up with the btc amount ((100*.00032)+(1000*.0004)+(1750*.0005)+(250*.0007)+(3000*.00099)+(1000*.001)+(1500*.00149))
