hi all, pretty new here and would like to hear your suggestions before starting. my question is: which is in yr opinion the best online btc wallet and why? i'd like to start investing something but still not really sure on what is the best way to handle it many thanks  Blockchain for web wallet, bitcoin core for desktop, and electrum for smartphone wallet. If there is another best choice, I would choose xapo, multibit HD, and airbitz/mycellium. |

My best online bitcoin wallet is blockchain.info because it is really different compared to other online/web wallets and im using it since i was starting on bitcoin world upto now im still using it.Sometimes i use coinbase but the platform of blockchain is really different which give me the convenience of sending funds and recieving funds and its user-friendly compared to others.

Xapo is okay but I still like Blockchain more because it has more nice dashboard settings and it also has more security options that can be chosen from. |

For me the Blockchain wallet stays one of the best because it has very good market and is also trust worthy compared with the others.
But when I open bitcoin.org, blockchain not show in there. I recommend to use coinbase or xapo, because simple and use vault for more security. early blockchain the first in realeas bitcoin.org but blokchain remove in there because several year any problem about phising email , can hack many client blockchain so can reduce trust and then remove from bitcoin.org |

My best web wallet is from blockchain.info because it has taught me new ways of upping my wallets security and it has proved to be a secure wallet that can not easily be broken into thanks to the developers for not developing a RESET PASSWORD, even though I have seen people of late posting problems from it such as not receiving emails to authorize transactions and the alike, it still remains my number 1.

Online wallets is not good to save a mega amount of bitcoins on it. Because if something will go wrong, you will lose all, for small amount I'm using blokchain.info because it is safer as online wallet, but to be more safe, of course PC wallet is best)

there are a good number of wallets out there and my number one being blockchain.info then the directbet wallet (note: you do not hold private keys to this wallet but fees are covered by the bookie) but with this rise in price a desktop wallet should be ideal to prepare for the inevitable.

For me the blockchain stays the best, I do not use it a lot but when I do its an easy to use and also more safe than other online wallets.

The blockchain is good but has high fees and Xapo is good, I now use xapo because of the nice mobile easiness it has plus the fee's are low most of the time.

Xapo is bad secured if we talk about a good secured online wallet that is pretty safe and used(trusted by a lot of members on here) I would go for the blockchain wallet, I do not prefer online wallets but that is one of the best of the online ones. |

just read some posts on the forum on how long its taking a transaction to get confirmed and how other users are failing to access their accounts on coinbase as a result of numerous transactions and i think its time to avoid web wallets and consider investing in a hardware devices like the TREZOR or other desktop wallets like Bitcoin Core. |

It is not 2005 anymore. 2FA is not a bonus feature anymore is is a core element of every serious online service. At this point pretty much every online wallet has 2FA - Coinbase, Xapo, Coinkite, BitGo - it is even feature in some software wallets like Armory. Having 2FA no longer makes wallet exceptionally good&unique. |

I was also with them but from someone on this forum I read that xapo often lock the account of the members and even after providing them the identity documents they do not open the account and deny the members for the access to the account after that I do not keep xapo as my main account. |

if you are in the Philippines then I suggest it is better for you to use coins.ph as your online wallet,
but if you are going to go for some gambling I should also warn you that there is a chance that your account could get banned or they could freeze your account because that is against there terms and agreement

Yeah! I'm also blockchain user.Blockchain.info is extremely useful & simple, secure and safe Blockchain Wallet.There if you unable to afford transaction fees than your second choice might be considered as coinbase which maintain by under some restrictions. |

Yes, coins.ph is good for those people who are living in Philippines. And besides it offers good types of services and as well as it has free transaction. But about the gambling thing in that wallet, they are not the once who are doing that. Even coinbase is also implementing that strict rule. |
