Was "Bitcoin ATM" complete vaporware or what? I heard that it was supposed to launch today, but the only news I've heard is that Jeff Berwick got sacked from the project.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Funny I was wondering that too. Bitcoin has seemed to die down in the news of late.

I watched a live stream of the demo and it all looks good. The ATM works, the company seem legit and there's a lot of interest. They're talking about rolling out the first ATMs in 3 to 6 months.
