A lot of my previous transactions with ~ $0.2 in fees per transaction all took a couple blocks to confirm. If you had sent the btc with a normal fee, perhaps wait a bit longer? Yeah, post your link.

Don't worry the payment will be funded. Mine one time took 26 hours. It just varies with blockchain these days. Good Luck!

He already sent it. It's just waiting for confirmatio so it provably has nothing to do with sync. Providing the link of the txn may help us to know how long your txn will be confirm just incase it hasn't been confirmed now.

Mine too. And so are a lot of other transactions having the same problem at this moment because the mempool is all clogged up. I guess the best thing to do is just to wait and see what happens. Usually transactions rarely not confirm in 24 hours, however clogged up mempool is.
Try ask a pool to include it if it is something really urgent and important?

There are times where bitcoin transactions become stuck. Possible that there is not enough high fee or it is not high enough priority. So the miner will not include the transaction into a block and the transaction will be stuck. Sometimes it is likely that eventually the transaction will process, but you can help it if you rebroadcast it. Here is a link of block chain.info site https://blockchain.info/pushtx

for confirmations of transactions nothing you can do besides wait because transactions cannot be cancelled and I also have the same problem just like you yesterday because for my transactions it took more than 24 hours to reach 1 confirmations because had low fees however there is no worry soon or late your transactions will confirm

Yup, Yesterday my transaction took over 9 hours to confirm, i was thinking the same thing, i don't believe this is a usual thing, not sure what happend. It also seems it only happens with lower absolute transaction fees, which is probably why it took so long since i was sending a small amount. Is there going to be any solution for this problem in the future? If transaction confirm times are going to be so long, Bitcoin, as a currency, is going to face a lot of problems, amirite?

No replies or comments by OP, i think his transaction is already confirmed now.
Paying enough fee could help to speed up the confirmation, but this isnt guaranteed everytime. Sometimes you have to wait more than 24 hours, but it get confirmed in the end, don't worry about this.

Nowadays I see that transaction takes long time to confirm sometimes. Maybe it's because of many transactions each day. Just be patient op you will receive the amount you have been sensed too just wait for the confirmation even if it takes days. The longest transaction I have experienced so far is about 1 week long for it to be confirmed.

You are not only one whos experiencing this but all bitcoin users all over the globe since there is a huge number of unconfirmed transactions that why it would really took up long for a certain transaction to be confirmed unless if you put the highest tx fee but still doesnt guarantee you because same on my case i put the decent tx fee but still it took 4 hours almost.

Try to check and trace the transaction. There are numerous transactions going on and with the increase in such transactions the blocks will move slowly.

I recommend you to check this link https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ before making a transaction , well according to the site now the fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 70 satoshis/byte, it means your fee should be 0.00129500 bitcoin or 0.9860 USD at the price right now. 0.00051 Bitcoin seems very low that's why it took long time to get confirmed. However you can adjust your fee higher than recommend fee in order to get fast confirmation. Just a friendly advice, good luck for you.

You probably did not add fees to the transaction and it will take a while to go through. You could double spend the coins to cancel the transaction and retry it but this time including the fees.

One newbie, one single post, a clear question that shows why you should not even use bitcoin in the first place. Bitcoin is not plug and play: you have to learn a bit of how it works before to start using it. You want the easier way but you don't know there's none.
