Every holiday season price is going up but i think we cant see $800 by the end of this month. Maybe next year would if theres no incident again that would cause the price to fall after the holiday.
I'm not sure about the above quote. I personally feel that we'll start the year from $800 or more. We are getting closer to the expected margin. At times steep increase in price makes it easily achievable. But achieving a $200 and more variation within an very short period to reach $1000 is highly impossible. |

Hitting $800 will definitely be good for us. But while at hit investments to eth and the rest may also not profitable to which i'm also into. Should we give up some and buy back later?

im not expecting that we could start a new year in a $800 because the price of bitcoin still not stable enough to be start on $800 ithink because of those bitcoin users that cashing out their bitcoin when its reaching $800 thats why its still on $700. but im still hoping that next year it could start on $800 and grow until it reach $1000 usd per bitcoin.

With the price crossing $790, it would be very pessimistic to expect to begin the New Year at anything less than $800. Right now, I think $830 is on the cards for Bitcoin. This holiday season is really the time to celebrate.  |

This holiday season is really the time to celebrate. actually it is not pessimistic at all. there is still $11 left to go ($789 right now) and it has always been harder to rise to a new price than rising to a price that existed before. |

i think we're about to start a new year with a $800+ there's always surprises when its christmas just like last year bitcoin price surprises is awesome so im really sure we're gonna start with $800 price per bitcoin. but now if it hits $800 its not stable because as you can see bitcoin price change every minute. thats why if it will be stable in 2017 thats a good thing for all of us.

with the new change in price moving up to 760-770 USD i think $800 price by the end of this month is easily possible now.
what do you think is needed for this rise to happen or ensure it?
IT is possible that bitcoin will be at $800 Dollars anytime keep your eye on bitcoin once it totaly hit on that price i will sell all my bitcoin for chrismat and for new year i want to start my new life without bitcoin in my wallet and start earning again for 1 year I assured that bitcoin will make it again. |

I think that we can jump to the 800 dollar in the new year but nothing is sure of course it can also remain in the 700 dollar.

Do you mean we should sell some bitcoin now and then buy back later? it might not be a good idea as the price might rise again. |

Do you mean we should sell some bitcoin now and then buy back later? it might not be a good idea as the price might rise again. It really depends on you regarding on this kind of decision on which if you are a trader you will definitely sold some of your coins to secure profits specially when you bought it on a lower price and its not really a bad thing and also holding off your coins is not also a bad thing since you are waiting for the right time to sell off. |

Like every other thread predicting the price of bitcoin at the time of christmas or the start of the new year, I would say we would reach $800 by these times. It's so near. It will happen. It won't if some issues like the hacking event in one of the exchanges happen again and fear ensues again. I believe bitcoins will reach $800 before the year's end no matter what!

Looks like we might start the year at $1000 at this rate. We are already 820 and growing. In a couple of hours we could be testing 900's... good times for the smart people that didn't listen to the fud and kept buying and storing BTC for the past year. if you did your homework you should be enjoying great gains right now, and we have not even started yet, real party begins at ATH+

Yep! It is looking good. We passed a resistance level that hasn't been passed in awhile so it looks like its starting to surge. I'm really looking to see what is in store for BTC in 2017! |

Yep! It is looking good. We passed a resistance level that hasn't been passed in awhile so it looks like its starting to surge. I'm really looking to see what is in store for BTC in 2017! That is right. But it is better for the price to rise slowly, no more than 15% a month, so there will not be a crash. |

I am not worried at all about the growth rate of bitcoin - it still is low if you look at the bigger picture. Only around 10 % in a month. There are stocks that are doing better in their bull markets.

The price is already $1080. The price has crashed down to $880, but recovered to $980 already. It might trade here for some weeks. |

The price crashed, but it is still above $900. So that is good omen for the new year. |

We start at $1,000+ on the first few days of trading and now puff... The prices dropped back to $800+ and it's looking bad. Probably this is just a correction, we won't know for sure unless it bounces back to it's price before it dropped. Hoping for the best though. But I think at $1,100 the whales all sold and this is the end effect.
