When the price is high, I will sell it. When the price is low, I will keep it or buy it.

Long term view of your coin is the solution to market volatility. If you hold your coin in the hope that it will rise in price overtime, you are not likely to miss the top price and you are likely to sell at top as well.

To understand when it's time to sell, I study and look at many things. These are trading indicators, analysis of the situation on the market, trade diagrams, news in the media, indicators of trend changes, the history of change in the price of a coin, intuition, some experience, expert opinion, etc.

It is a commonsense actually, because the right time to sell is when the market value of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency in the market reaches its highest peak in the world trade market.

paying close attention to bitcoin graphic's rise and fall is very important. doing a few research with last years graph is an advantage. as for me, it help me realize and understand why, bitcoin is suddenly low for a while. but looking on its slowly rises every now and then, leads me thingking that maybe the same thing will going to happen by end of this year! so, its the best time to buy now. and sell by end of the year! my opinion

Many users here are talking about highest peaks, to sell high, buy low etc. It sounds easy but it's not. Everyone knows you should buy low, sell high but most of unexperienced traders doesn't know when is the right time to sell or buy. So how can you be sure  when the price is high and it won't go even higher? Or when the price is low that it won't go even lower.
You could never know that 100%, but you can help yourself with tehnical analysis with some combination with a fundamental analysis.
Those analysis are not correct all the time but if you have some TA experienced trader you could predict important lines and make some important trading moves based on that. I like to swing trade. It's less stressfull than daytrading. But daytrading can be fun too  Smiley

Based on my personal experienced, I always plan to sell my investments once my securities or investments surpass its book value that I bought for.
Through this I can incurred a income without doing anything to earn it, the money will work for my future and not me.

For trading i always put my asset in altcoins with good trend, make a analyze with resistance and support area then take a target prices to earn a profit.
If you learn risk and money management then you can know how much a profits with your assets, dont be greedy and dont be afraid.

Selling bitcoin depends in the necessity of the owner and of course the price of its exchange. The higher the price the best time to sell bitcoin because the more people also want to buy it.
