These miners don't require much power and at least in my opinion do not require a 220 line like a 20,000 BTU air conditioner does. A Jupiter is only pulling what 600? 700?

think he ment 20 amp line usa direct (only thing on it is asic gear) vs probably a 15amp with other clutter on the line. so if I had a 15 amp wire line I'd replace the wire to the next gauge up 20amp and 20amp breaker etc...maybe overkill ..just saying   ..or at least that is what I did....... just in case...running a separate circuit in to the breaker box in the basement direct.

@Bitcoinorama, any idea on when KNC will open up orders again?

They are basically adhering the network protection statement thing they promised not to destroy the hashrate unless any competition get greedy.

With that in mind it is unlikely to be this side of '14.

It makes no sense to harm current customers and those from the Nov batch.

Also they want to keep improving the design, get the pool up and running and give everyone here a chance to breath. This has been quite mentally and physically demanding. Hosting needs to expand etc. there is no shortage of work to do. I have plenty of content I've been working on for the site that needs some backend work before uploading, problem is it's not a current priority, and none of the guys I need to complete this are free to do so. I'd also like to work on my own pool for the guys who aren't in hosting, I have some cool ideas there...

Last time, the bigger boxes where delivered in the early morning, UPS even woke me up.
And today, now it's already launch time and I'm still waiting.. Undecided

Maybe KnC better ships next time upgrade boards in huge boxes, just to make sure the driver delivers them first when starting the daily tour  Tongue

Who let you out of noobie jail? At least you can't delete people's responses now you're in this thread.

I doubt you are going to get much sympathy in here throwing around your vague complaints and posting what is really just slander.

I assume, in here you will no find that much ppl taking you serious, as 99% have reached break-even.
Losses due to in/decreasing exchange rates when you request a refund are not KnCMiners fault I'd say.

I don't want to commit to something and have it held against me, but this time next week is looking rosy.

So I may be right then, saying that a lot of November orders will turn into December orders.

Thanks, that's about what I figured. With most competitors releasing 2TH units in the next few months, should we expect to see KNC outdo those speeds when they do release something?

I have much less faith in BTC reaching 1mil than KNC creating a kickass gen2 miner that makes other companies cry.
