Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I don't think that burning down the place will solve any of our problems.
They collect insurance, rebuild te place and use our neptunes as a replacement.

Also an excellent excuse to delay beyond Q2

+1 for the visual presentation Cool

I don't think KnC published 1.0.1, you'd have to build it from github ... (which I'm looking at now myself)

What the difference at new firmware

Thanks

- CGminer 4.2.3
- Small fix for Ericcson DCDC monitor
- Support for NTP

I have been maintaining a custom firmware based on 1.0 initially, and now 1.01 that adds support for the unsupported overclocking some are doing on the forums, adds bertmod, and a few other small things... It's integrated into the KNC UI and runs automatically when the miner boots..  Average November runs at 940Gh/s with 4 modules, 6 can hit 1.45Th/s..

I'm running this version (Padrino's version <3 ) right now with 2x of my 4 module units running at 940-960GH/s and my 2x 6 module units running at 1300 (it's on 110V at my house) and the other at 1350-1375 (has more room honestly) on 240V at my shop.  Def. was a nice upgrade but people need to remember having proper cooling is key!

er being a dummy here you unzip it and then just install it as a .bin file like the regular knc upgrade way? I assume that is how it is setup?
being a coward I'd probably run it 'stock' or your version of such due to the nature of my miner beastie

(cautious with my knc oct miner it ran 555gh from .90 to.99 then now runs at 558 at 1.00....in that it arrived in a soaked
box full of rainwater....I treat it like a cat...just leave it alone to purr along every upgrade makes me pucker up"

we also serve who quiver on upgrades

Also I can not understand
Why they do not offer refund for Titan?
Titanic?

yeah sorry guys the whole KNC mess is because of me I xfered my Neptune CA order to a Titan...and of course as soon as that happens the 'asic gods' try to make KNC into BFL

(story of my life..this Titan purchase may have been my be a repeat BFL boner 2013 award and KNC boner 2014 (pending) award)

I mean really do I have a pre-order curse or something ...I feel like a knocked up waitress with the fleet leaving port...screwed again!

sigh

and just to prove the KNC is now the Empire of Star Wars fame and when the "Deathstar" (PH farm up north as they phrase it) kicks in $1 Million Dollars a DAY! (shoot me now)

When they claim to make $1 million per day when the dc is complete, I did a simple calculation if that happens at 12 Billion difficulty they need 60 PH to do that!  @.10 electricity

WTF are they BSing or they have that much firepower.

Thats 20,000 Neptunes.  So it is they pre-sell 2500 units and make 10x that amount for themselves first I guess huh.

The article was probably transcribed from Swedish into English and it's likely 1m krona ($190,000) not 1m dollars. Didn't we already have this discussion in this thread? They'd need something like 75%* of the network to earn a million dollars per day.

* ok, I didn't actually do the math but you get the idea, lol.
