For everyone/anyone mining on BTCGuild with their KnCMiner gear, what difficulty are you guys running on your Jupiters? What about Jupes that run under 500GH?

I believer Eligius still does not allow dif change, right?

I setup 512 ghs - as a result is 99.94% (accepted shares) 2 days long. Other diff make much more errors. Not now about 1 Ths only Smiley
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Mark day 2 for "In Process"

How can that be if they are working in batches? Surely day 2 should all be done and shipped now?
Your day 2 and my mid July in the same batch? Both in process? Pfft.

Not what i ment as day 2 order.
I mean that its been 2 days that it has said in process.  Tongue

What about people who are running 1 Jupiter? Are you guys set at 256 or 512?

I run 1 Jupiter with 512 ghs (1 jup=1worker)

never know about result on 1 Ths, on the other speed much more erorrs. Best choise is 512

Do you guys think the difficulty is going to keep on increasing at 50% increments? If not, then what percent increments do you think?

Nobody knows for sure but I think 10 PH/s if a good estimate of 2013 pre-orders.   If everyone delivers by Jan we can expect difficulty to quadruple between now and then.  Honestly it doesn't really matter if there is a "slow week" if the following week is some 800 TH/s rollout.

Plan on 10 PH/s in January and adjust your coinflow accordingly.

i might give him your post for more details

Wow, does DHL draw a vacuum.  They won't deliver to a US Post Office.  If I want to pick it up at a DHL office they only offer Atlanta, and I'm halfway between Atlanta and Columbus and a good deal west.  So, that's out.  I gave them my home address but my property is always gates closed and my home is 2½ acres distant from the drive gate.  If I leave the gate open, a neighbor's dog kills my chickens.  These are free ranging chickens and don't get cooped up all day unless I have to spend the night away.  I asked for a time to expect delivery and was told anytime between 8AM and 8PM.  I'd say call my cell but my cell doesn't get any reception here.  If the weather's nice I'll be out in the yard and won't hear the home phone.  Had a problem with DHL once before.  They tried to deliver a radio.  It had arrived at the Columbus office.  Found a note saying they had been here 3 times and were returning it.  They lied.  Driver just didn't want to make the trip again.  No fence in those days.  No excuse, just lazy, lying DHL driver back then.
Are you saying that the root problem is the neighbor's dog?

The problem is that DHL won't deliver to my US Post Office Box.  I don't take deliveries at my home unless there is absolutely no alternative.  When I gave in and said okay and said deliver it to my home I couldn't get a reasonable window on when to expect delivery; I need to be here available from early morning to 8PM tomorrow night and I had tentative plans to be somewhere else.  Add to that the annoyance that the gate is 500' away and stays closed except when I'm passing thru it...it's just not a good delivery arrangement.  Some upgrade, I wasn't consulted except for the original shipping spec and I said UPS and for this reason.  So, the chickens will be cooped up until after delivery and the gate will be left open.  Foxes too but after asking a kid next door to cool it flying by the chicken coop in his ATV, my chickens started getting killed.  I thought it was the fox I was seeing on my trailcams until I heard a commotion right out front and there was the neighbor's beagle laying waste to my flock.  I put up the fence.  Over 3 acres fenced.  Haven't lost any more chickens.

warning, read my post in the hardware section about asic_test. Do not use it manually. You can lock your cores with it. It can also unlock seemingly dead cores on a firmware upgrade automatically. Just don't mess with it yourself.

Well, here are my stats for a saturn delivered today, after about 8 1/2 hrs. of mining

miner_knc   229.68 GH/s   1332864 (99.70%)   1792 / 8064 / 2176

temps look great at 46.5 celsius and 41c

currently on .95......like the low errors, scared to update firmware but also want the faster hashing rate described by other Saturn owners like phoenix1969, he has 3 Saturns churning at about 275GH/s ea.

Any Saturn owners with ideas/suggestions???

As this is a bit of a fuck-up and no one has mentioned it here yet, I'm going to xpost it:
http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/main-category/hardware/8377-it-should-be-removed-before-the-cooler-is-installed-this-is-a-instalation-quality-check-failure

Hopefully it was a limited incident, but worth adding to your "before powering up for the first time" checklist.
