So it's now 6pm Friday in Sweden, end of business day. No news on shipping. So looks like if you units are still "in progress", the earliest you might see something now is Tuesday.

The difference between "set in stone" deadline of 15th October and Tuesday 22nd is a loss of 7BTC (and counting) per Jupiter.

I'm looking at you KNC.

My shipment appears to be sitting in OH with the following status:
Quote
12    Clearance event    CINCINNATI HUB, OH - USA    4:48 AM

Under "Further Details":
Quote
The Clearance process for this shipment is on-going with additional details required for clearance

and under "Next Step":
Quote
The clearance process will continue once the additional details are provided for clearance

Is this something out of the ordinary, or do all international shipments to the US go through this?

It appears that additional info is required by DHL from you to clear your shipment with customs.

Don't wait!! Call them ASAP and see what they need.

If you're lucky, you will receive it Monday.

If you have forms to fill out, then well... It's up to you.
This isn't a DHL/UPS/FedEx issue. It's US customs not clearing your shipment.

Oh well, I'm going to shut it down and inspect the board with a loupe and check out its thermal paste or tape.

Which firmware? Did you update the firmware that it shipped with?

Firmware 0.95 and no I have not upgraded.  Temp in the room is cool, 70.2°F (think that's 21.2°C) and the miner is

Strange I remember paying for UPS not DHL

No shit!  UPS Next Day, no less.

Somehow that turned into a 5 day trip with DHL.  Fucked again.  JFC   Angry
Are you saying it's been sitting in DHL for 3-5 days? If so, call and ask.  DHL doesn't just sit on packages for no reason... All delays with international shipments are due to customs/security checks that are outside of shippers control.  But there are .1% occasional logistic problems... Don't wait and call them!

Cooler Master stand true to their name, their cooling products are awesome, their cabinets are also great. But their PSU's are crap (90%). I've rather bet on Seasonic/Antec/Corsair. They are the most trusted names in psus, at least when it comes to powering up computers. There is a tiered listing of psus somewhere in bookmarks, if I find it, I'll post it.

The V1000 is made by Seasonic its the new KM3 platform

Check out the johnnyguru review. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story4&reid=344

Just a bad one from the batch, will RMA it tommorow.

Quite right you are, virtually every psu in market is made by either seasonic or cwt. But there's that rating. Anyway yes, Rma is still your friend Smiley

Fans clanking around is normal... all 3 of mine needed love in that respect...
and...
The machines take at least 15 munites to reach peed, after enabling/disabling the proper cores...
this is also normal
the machines also take a few days to "Burn in", and will run a few gh/s faster.
example....
Saturns were all about 260-265 after 15 mins of running...
2 days later...   270-275

also... eliguis always shows the wrong speed from polling the speeds fron the incorrect field in cgminer

I'm annoyed that I paid for next day delivery which won't be close and was a premium, that my rig has been "in progress" for 3 fucking days...apparently the batches all go to that status together which would mean given 300 produced Wed and 450 yesterday ..batches of about 800? Also, there were 1000 left to produce on Tuesday roughly, minus that 750 and whatever they produced today (400?) ...they should all be finished.

I don't believe a word they say.

On the KnC site UPS zone 3 next day delivery is the only other option even now apart from hosting or pickup. So there's another con 120 dollars for it.

My miner is stuck in Ohio as well.
I was told it would be delivered today any time from 13:30-16:30.
I live in California... It's 09:30 already..

Not happening today.

My miner is stuck in Ohio as well.
I was told it would be delivered today any time from 13:30-16:30.
I live in California... It's 09:30 already..

Not happening today.
You can thank all the people complaining about UPS for that.... what a shame
There simply is no faster service...
all 3 saturns ...   each one took less than 48 hours to Hawaii

bummer

eligius is showing 2013/10/18 14:48:45: 675 seconds: 34741.51

34.7GH/s

Oh well, I'm going to shut it down and inspect the board with a loupe and check out its thermal paste or tape.

Which firmware? Did you update the firmware that it shipped with?

Well, added a second 12vdc switching supply, each good for 360 watts and the Mercury is only drawing 144, no now down to 142 watts, many cores being disabled due to 10 HW errors in a row.

 KnC 0:                | 90.66G/62.23Gh/s | A:2182 R:43 HW:2798 WU:1310.6/m

Will see how it looks after an hour, meanwhile I'll readup on installing bertmod before upgrading as I heard it wasn't working on 0.96 but maybe that's changed.

Firmware 0.95 and no I have not upgraded.  Temp in the room is cool, 70.2°F (think that's 21.2°C) and the miner is
 HW status:

ASIC slot #1: -
ASIC slot #2: -
ASIC slot #3: -
ASIC slot #4: -
ASIC slot #5: 30.5 ℃
ASIC slot #6: -

Well, after 36 minutes I have this:

KnC 0:                | 92.74G/90.61Gh/s | A:34415 R:179 HW:14505 WU:1378.3/m

Hardware errors 14505 while accepted 34415.

Shutting down.

People didn't complain as much about UPS as about the shoddy packaging. Packed well it wouldn't matter much who they used as far as damage is concerned.
