Hey guys,

I believe KnC Updated the Firmware in their hosted units.

It's looking like my Jupiters are getting 600gh+ (650gh on some and 700gh on one)

I'll need more time to see if this is variation but it looks like this new firmware could be a massive increase in hashrate.

Wanted to know if anyone is experiencing similar with their hosted units.

(The update appears to have happened in the past hour)

My hosted units have gone up and down a few times in the past few hours.  The portal hashrate and the pool rates don't match very well at all.

Did you see the increase in the pool or the portal?  My portal graph seems pretty stable (some a bit up and some a bit down)

Due to the stops and starts, can't get a good read from Elegius yet.

Portal looks same as before besides them going down for what I assume is the FW update.

Check out the worker tab it looks like it's coming back down but still.

I want to wait it out for a 3 hour average before saying that this is a huge improvement.

Mine look similar, but I think they will fall back to the average speed.  Even my 22 minute is way off right now.

We will see!

Early notes on 0.98...

- cgminer updated to 3.6.6
- getting fewer hardware errors
- no change in flushwork frequency
- performance roughly 2% higher
- temps slightly higher

I am testing on my poor performing units and so far looks great!

The disabled cores now seem to have a smaller negative effect on overall hashing power.

So far, my hashrate in CG miner has gone from 540 gh/s to 550

 cgminer version 3.6.6 - Started: [2013-10-29 14:29:59]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 (5s):627.6G (avg):566.4Gh/s | A:27648  R:512  HW:594  WU:7846.7/m
 ST: 2  SS: 0  NB: 1  LW: 29933  GF: 0  RF: 0

Take this all with a grain of salt, it has been hashing for about 20 seconds - havent applied bertmod quite yet.

Careful with this one, guys.. monitor your temps. My machines are running hot. Each chip about 2-4 degrees higher on 0.9.8.

Rolling back to 0.97 for now.
