seems like higher electricity consumption, but I can't tell exactly as I have several other devices connected to my one
+80 Watts at the wall.

Installed 9.8 FM.  So far hashrate is a record high and HW errors are a record low BUT WU dropped by 300. Not sure if this is better or not. Too early to say. Running a bit warmer also.

seen twice now - when upgrading, clock resets to 01.01.2000

when it refreshes to todays date and time - Avg. HR & WU both drop to zero & cgminer shows avg HR as 1.683Mh/s

Restarting the PSU after date/time refresh seems to sort it

Now its stabilizing around 570 Gh/s

WU has risen from 7700 to 7986

582W with 100% cores enabled

so far so good

Quick update

0.97  - 500-508GH/s for all 3 Jupiter (with the Cgminer updates applied)
0.98 - 560-570GH/s for all 3

Just upgraded. I'm getting about a 1-1.5% increase in hashrate, but my unit was at the top of the performance range anyway, 280 for a Saturn, equivalent to 560 for a Jupiter. Now I'm getting 282-283.

This is the ONE.

Have 2 jupiters.

One used to hash at 534 with HW+R 3.2% and the other at 544 with HW+R 2.8%.

Now both of them stabled at 569 with HW+R at 1.3% and 1.5%. Grin

Wattage is indeed higher from 472 and 482 to 537 and 539W.

I have 4 cores off on both machine.

Now I am waiting to see the 3 hours average increase on Eligius before congratulating KNC.

Mercury upgraded from .97 (138GH/s) to .98 after 2 hours (141GH/s). Temps are 1-2 degrees hotter but nothing alarming. Seems like they are moving in the right direction with this one for sure! Couldn't be more pleased with KNC.

Jupiter upgrade from .97 to .98.

Watts at the wall increase from 597 at the wall to 674 at the wall.

Performance increased from ~545 GH/s to ~565 GH/s.

Hardware errors decreased from 4.7% to 1.2%.

No real change in temps.

Great upgrade!

OMG my Jupiters are flying with 0.98, the ones that struggled to reach 500GH/s at the pool are now well above 550GH/s after aprox. 30 minutes

My ASIC run better with casing, but the temp is quite high with casing on.
Is 70C Safe for my ASIC?
Thank You

Been doing some testing and still torn between 0.97 and 0.98.. need some advice.

All else aside.. I have a higher hashrate in 0.98, but WU is lower by about 250 compared to 0.97. I always believed the two to be directly correlated, but that doesn't appear to be the case here.

Which is more important in the long-term for overall earnings, hashrate or WU?

.98  Have only been running it 10 Minutes, def. improvement compared to any other first 10 minutes, especially HW error rate.....temps look good.

Will report back in a few....Now I have a Saturn at its full potential. Thanks KNC and Ckolivas.....if this continues, ckolivas deserves a btc token of our appreciation.

Please post any changes in WU, that is really all that matters because that is what we are paid for.

WU previously included HW errors, so a drop doesn't automatically mean worse.
