Hi Orama,

there are post here stating the number of Neptune's left till sold out. eg. 178 and 108 left

is this accurate or would these figures be including orders that have been place but not/never paid?

merv77

I was under the impression they all sold out yesterday. I'm still in Vegas, and burying my head right now. I have had hardly any sleep these days, been on the go 24/7, and had to do a lot of talking. Looks like I've picked up a nasty chest infection, so I'm heading back to Europe tomo, but I won't be useful to anyone until I feel a lot better than this. Undecided

Make my day! Say thanks if you found me helpful Smiley BTC Address --->

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Another blown cap, was from the one that was having trouble on the EVGA, so I swapped to a tested and working OCZ 1250W gold, and poof.

:boom:

Seems to be a common failure.  Anyone know the specs on those caps?  Should be pretty easy to change if one knew what to order as a replacement.

It looks like ordinary bulk capacitors (KNC's derating policy is very optimistic - if you could blow them up with a bit over-voltage).
I do not believe the capacity is critical (if they are bulks), just be sure to use 25V volt rating (or higher) so they don't blow up again.

Anyone have any problems running the Nov. jupiters from EVGA G2 1300w? I had 2 shut off last night for no discernible reason, except that they both use the same EVGA psu. I have 4 other jupiters using the same PSU... so don't understand.

I have two Nov. Jupiters both using the EVGA G2 1300w power supply, and have had one random shutdown thus far. I have no idea why it occurred, but moved some power supply cables around just in case that had something to do with it.

Another thing - Wish KNC had Saturday delivery available/readily offered. I know it's an extra 15$ for UPS Saturday Delivery, but 2 days of extra hashing is definitely worth it.

+1

All three of my Jupiters could have been delivered on a Saturday instead of Monday. That's a lot of lost hashes Tongue

Do you have a UPS account?

Maybe you can rework the delivery.

I do - I've chatted and called UPS, they cite that unless the shipper, shipped it as Saturday delivery,  they could only release the package from the local hub on Monday.

That's a lot of lost hashes for individuals.

I'll talk to my UPS contact to see if anything can be done, but it's unlikely. This is an rma for a rma (2/6 rma'd chips had die 0 issue)

Hopefully they'll take the feedback and provide superior service next generation.  (Orama!!) Smiley
