Before I sold everything I had 19 TH powered by KNC and Dragonminers.  Started mining in January mined right at 96BTC between eligius and btcguild swapping in equipment as new stuff came out.  While everyone kept saying buy a miner that is releases late July or early August 4 months earlier...  So until then you all just sit and ride the high horse of having nothing.

KnC failed so hard that I'm even a little bit surprised I have to admit.
I had expected it would run at least something like 4,5TH/s and to save their faces (especially in regards to SP-30) it will be capable of 7-8 TH/s.

I'm so happy 'coz I've no neppy.

I'm sure KnC will never be able to do this pre-order shit again, at least not with huge success.
And the only products which will be sold out soon due to this very news are not Batch3 Neptunes, but the currently available Spondoolies offers I think. 1 month later, but twice the performance for the same money (unit costs are 16% less for SP) seems like the better deal..

It seems today. all they have done, is shot themselves in the foot. I can already smell the rotting flesh of a dead reputation.

P.S. Everyone keeps throwing Neptune and 5TH around. With Jupiter, they started small and then added & added to the hashrate to make it more appealing. They have never once reestimated the hashrate of Neptune Nob-tune. As announced by the knc "director of running away like a scared girl" in January, their main interest in Neptune is energy efficiency, as it suits their DC plans. They've announced twice their "success" in doing this. That's your knc 'bonus' this time kids - the fact you might be able to run it from domestic power.

All future software updates to raise the hashing speed will be free of charge.

And they'll promise a firmware update to "fix it", which may take 5-6 months if their efforts on the Jupiter firmware are anything to go by. How would you feel about waiting to July to get a 2.3TH machine you Neptune hodlers?
