Thank you, but they'll need more than us. They will close down business, that's very probable. We have to get rid of this people, they damage all the crypto world.

well...got to the knc forums www.kncminer.com look there..they still are claiming folk get 300mh on their miners....they still neglect to
mention most of these people can only mine litecoin....freq reboots (babysit miner) usually only 2 of the 4 cubes work (they say RMA but
also say do to swamped can't tell you when you will get your cube(s) back) and generally all problems are due to multi-pools not them

its a farce..the Titans are broke and they have NFI of wtf is wrong yet

they made 200 million by some estimates this last year in USD .so...they can drag this out in court for a long long time

the money is basically 'lost' imho....being a legal miner in usa (due to bank error had to prove i was a legit biz took one day to fix but still stuck as had to file)

I can take 25% off equip and so far last year and this year (likely) will not have to pay taxes (last year coulda paid 4K but with equip did not pay any)

so only option i can see ..some of you may just want to check with a CPA and see if you are equip heavy this MAY be an option (drastic I know but all

I have from my situation is out of my 17.5k of equipment from 2013 onward I can write off $4375.00 usd applied to taxes due over next 5 years (under

quidelines bitcoin miners are Computers 5 yr depreciation)...it an't much but last year did not have to pay 4K and this year likely won't pay anything in

of any note for mining either (jupiter and whenever I get the Titan) ..so my situation sucks..but at least I MAY not get completely screwed by the Titan

now if they could just get the damn thing to work with fast block coins/ multi-pool and miracle of miracles scrypt N I just MAY get 1/2 my purchase

price back on the Titan after all this with the above equip depreciation....an't much but better then the 1/4 of purchase price if not in my unigue legal

miner situation....anyway my advice talk to a CPA...look at your options.....(hell if i want I could even sell my coins mined last year at 1200 usd at a

loss as well...not gonna do that but for those richer then myself my be another option as a legal miner in usa)

all I got....but essentially just gonna have to eat this is what it is looking like ..even after I jump in the pool with all the class action and the rest

wtf got a BFL refund..that was a miracle....but hard to beat myself up on this on an order from last march 27th when KNC was golden ...till since

then with KNC's decision from frankenjupiter on..just to not give a f*ck and screw over consumers....hard to protect one self from that kinda 180 degree

turn around to the dark side treachery

live an learn I guess

what a bunch scumbags, KnC is going the same way as BFL and Black Arrow -> big asshole scam company

well only place left with any honor of any note equip wise now (mnfg not reseller) is www.spondoolie-tech.com they gave me a refund
and did not have to after I made some points on their sp30 not being applicable as a home miner...they PM'd me privately asked me if
I wanted a refund..it was an aug order I probably coulda ROI'd ..but took the refund..the pres of the company actually follows the
spondoolies thread on bitcoin talk and replies....they don't mine as a company...also maybe that is the diff

i suppose in 6 months they will also go to the dark side..it is a curse of too much fast $$$

but as of now they are the ONLY place I would consider for a pre-order..but alas at the current difficulty and bitcoin prices
and their mnfg costs ..that don't make sense right now either

so anyway is there any other mnfg out there anyone can recommend also? That have not or at least likely will not go the route

of KNC and BFL and just plain screw us over?

It would likely be a short list but maybe we need to make such a list

but as of right now as a maker of machines......I only got the one place left.....chime in I'd be interested to see if there are any others?

KNC has been assuring readers of its forum that the bad experiences of Titan owners who conribute to the KNC forum are not typical customer experiences and that impressions of unreliability and faulty behavior of the Titan gained from reading the KNC forum are a result of sampling error, ie: most posters on the KNC support forums are going to be people having problems.

Fair comment. However KNC are unable or unwilling to produce statements or affidavits from happy Titan customers.

So, lets take a survey.

Are there any Titan customers here who have received a fully functional and reliable miner which continues to operate reliably and can mine any scrypt coin at 300+ Mhs without baby sitting, firmware reloads, SD card reflashing, or significant bfgminer errors ?

Figured I'd chime in here. After making a nice profit with a Jupiter split with a friend we both decided to buy Titans immediately once they were available.

Titan 1 (mine):
running on fw 1.02 currently getting 300mh/s on wemineltc. Only pool that will achieve 300mh/s that I have tried. Original SD card is corrupt. I bought 2 extra class 10's and a spare Pi just in case. (more money down the Titan drain)
fw 1.03 or 1.04 results in dead dies within 10 minutes of running. It's always ASIC 0. Moving cubes around doesn't help. No matter what cube is on ASIC 0 the dc/dc's disappear or go dead. Fw tries to restart dies but never succeeds and just loops messages in bfgminer every couple of minutes.
So currently stuck mining LTC (which i didn't want to do) and probably stuck on 1.02 if future fw doesn't solve the dead die problems.

Titan 2 (friends)
Was running 300mh/s on wemineltc before the SD card got corrupt. He bought a new one and reflashed now it's about 220mhs on 1.02 on wemineltc. Not sure what the issue is as he hasn't had time to explain or troubleshoot but I do know all cubes are running at 300mhz. Probably dead dies but I'll check that next time I have a chance to look myself.

Although it seems like I'm one of the lucky ones, overall we are not happy with giving so much of our profits back to KNC for a product that isn't even close to what was advertised when we paid for it.

I assume those 2 cubes now contribute to the shipping of next one in the queue.
Low chip yield requires them being creative.

Send every one 2 bad cubes s/he will return soon.
Then ship those broken ones to the next, wait for return and repeat.

Would explain the delays in shipping.

Didn't KnC originally claim they'd be able to complete shipping of batch 1 within a week or so?

Also, with regards to their "we're working around the clock to fix these problems and get these units despatched", shouldn't they be following that up with a caveat explaining that "we're working around the clock" doesn't actually mean outside of regular working hours or weekends or Swedish public holidays.

Because, you know, "fuck the customer, we've already got their money", amirite?

I have 3 titans running and all of them are pointing to wemineltc.com (All other pools are unstable or would produce lesser hashrates)

I had to replace SD cards for all 3 titans - all of the original cards failed within weeks of mining.

Firmware 1.04 did bring some stability, but here is what I currently have:
Titan 1: is 62.5% (75%,25%,75%75%)
Titan 2: is 75% (100%,75%,25%,100%)
Titan 3: is 81.25% (75%,75%75%,100%)

So, all 3 titans are now operating at 73% of the full advertised capacity.

I do have to babysit those titans all the time - rebooting/reconnecting or fixing something. I'm not a happy customer

Bought 1 Titan.  FW 1.04 and 1.03 had same result.  3 cubes work flawlessly at ~75Mh/s....1 cube had a single core producing a paltry 7Mh/s, other cores in this cube are dead.  RMA'd the bad cube.  Currenlty mining ~225MH/s at litecoinpool.org, 115%pps because they keep the doge (which is fine with me).   Stupid alt coins switch too fast for the titan anyway.  Even 2.5 minute blocks is too fast for titan with their 4 second flush.  That's a ceiling of 97.3% efficiency!  What a joke knc.

I'm skeptical that this attorney is ready for something like this. As far as I can find, she's only been practicing for 2 years and it's mostly traffic court. KNC with our millions may eat her alive.

The alternative is just to sit by and do nothing.

Have to wonder, were yields so bad on first batch of chips that KnC is waiting for second batch of chips to finish batch 1 orders?

What is the progress of this lawsuit, as i signed on to it also. I'd love to know where we are at and how far this can go? As they made 200 million, i think that shutting them down and suing them for all their assets is in order cause they got rich off their customers money, it no longer belongs to them.

Bought 1 Titan. And in Q3 I find myself with... NOTHING.

Please sign up for the class action if you were a Titan customer:

I'm skeptical that this attorney is ready for something like this. As far as I can find, she's only been practicing for 2 years and it's mostly traffic court. KNC with our millions may eat her alive.

I think soon there will be much hungrier wolves to take a bite

Has Knc Cloud shut down? "KncMiner" stopped finding blocks. What the hell is going on?
