getting it eventually is not the issue...it won't get even 1/2 of what you paid for it on a best case imho

the problem is from looking on this thread and the www.kncminer.com thread...is that 9 out of 10 times it just won't plain work

on multi-pool

with fast block coins

only seems to kinda work with litecoin pools at best

plug burn out issues

most of the titans I can tell shipped so far have at least ONE cube bad if not the controller

an SD card they recomend you swap to a better class 10 version....although their instructions on knc site up till recently were incorrect

no real manual/fix stuff on the fly /DIY instructions on the site

anyway kinda makes me wonder if I should just sell it on ebay in hand un opened and walk from this headache

current price on ebay is 4.8k as of today in hand unopened 'buy it now" FYI

so me I'm not sweating it not arriving.....with probably easily more then 75% of the units they have shipped (not all that many) going back to RMA
..the likely slow down in shipping is they have practically as many units coming back via RMA as they have going out

me legal miner in USA can write off 1/4 in equip depreciation (over 5 years) should I choose...and truthfully EVEN WITH THAT  I bet on a best case

will only get 1/3 (including the above write off) of the purchase price back...another 3-4 weeks of this and people can almost expect a complete loss imho

esp if the mutlipool and only can do litecoin pools continues to be the case

as far as support goes..only KURT on knc forums and he is in FULL denial mode..so if you piss him off you won't get any answers..truthfully he has no idea
or control of what the higher ups are doing anyway ..just a tech guy....but to say he is getting a bit tired of us yelling is an understatement

but if that is 1st day orders or not they won't say..they just say 'when you signed up whatever the toss said when you paid..)

so imho they will just run this out say 120 days (of which for some folk 30 days is almost gone) ..get the crap out the door like the frankenjupiters and walk
away from all equip to customer sales...directly to their data hall investment farm

you just need to go on knc forum and look around before stuff is deleted
on how much all this Titan just does not work...

as to myself I'm unsure about the proper method ..I don't think refusing the

unit will help..from their actions so far they would simply hold the unit

hostage if they know you are going after them legally imho

i myself will probably wait get the unit then do all or most of the above like

everyone else after the fact..in that 9 out of 10 of the Titans don't seem to

work in some manner ..most have at least 1 bad cube etc....we likely will have

to play RMA games with KNC and document everything and use the resources above

anyway what i plan on doing getting it in hand see what is broken then do the

consumer protection stuff above...right now if you complain to kurt or to

sales at knc in my experience they just don't reply to you anymore in

email..which could be tough on a RMA in the future or something..so imho
it is not much of a streach if you complain before you get your unit..you may

..some may be scams....just be wary of them....others should continue to get

Well its been a full month now since KNC announced that they had started shipping the Titan (Q2/Q3, well within Q3 LOL) and I'm still waiting for my Titan, payment received 3/21. They have now had my hard earned $10000 for a full 7 months. The only thing I have received from KNC is a ban from their forums.

The implied warrantees of merchantability and fitness for purpose which exist on all commercial goods can not be voided by KNC claims of a non-refund policy.

The Titan is a faulty product which is unsafe to operate as shipped and has not been delivered in the promised timeframe.

The best you can say about it is that it mines some scrypt coins some of the time on some pools for some people, for a while before exhibiting reliability problems.

Kurt's claims of a 'silent majority' of satisfied Titan owners whom nobody has seen or heard of is unsubstantiated. His past employment with Fantasy Interactive" ( http://se.linkedin.com/in/kurt667 ) has obviously prepared him well for his current position.

KNC won't be selling anyone I know in the crypto mining world another product, ever.

There is lots of money on the table. I imagine that legal fees will be recovered so if there are chances for the group action Nova will get paid by the respondents. THe question is would they accept instructions on "no win no fee' basis or at least reduce their entry fee. Otherwise it is not fair. I cannot imagine making a class action and asking for money from the people without giving the most basic information. It is just unprofessional.

THe good thing is that the case is getting some attention in the media. Perhaps there are other practicies interested in this action. We just have to wait and see.

It sounds mad scammy. I wouldn't trust the "just trust me" business model anywhere and especially not with anything involving Bitcoin. If you want to sue these people you need an EU based lawyer. I don't know what kind of flow you guys have but if you're seriously in the red here it might be worth flying out to Sweden and hiring a lawyer there.
