Not sure if any of the Neptune owners noticed this yet?

https://www.kncminer.com/products/single-upgrade-module

It looks new, I am guessing that B1 and B2 owners won't be able to upgrade to these boards? But it will be possible that B3 owners will get these boards and if KNC decides to hold up their end of the deal with the B1 and B2 owners getting a free miner we too will get one. Smiley (fingers crossed)

Now it would be nice to know what KNC's intentions were offering B1/B2 Neptune users Y-Cables and never shipping them. LOL

They are the old November Jupiter boards, I'm guessing with KNC deploying more and more Neptune's internally they are retiring more of the old hardware..

I gave them $10,000 and they can't even ship a $5 connector.

getting rather suspicious that they will simply ignore their promises of shipping a compensation miner as well.

no faith left in this company.

It blows my mind that KNC have "sold" non working titans worth 10-20 million dollars and get away with it... how is that fucking possible ?

Deterrent effect of a Swedish lawyer pre-order plus inability of the community to organize a well thought out group legal action.

I beg to differ around 50+ people have joined hands to file law suit against KnC. I am also seeking law suit via my lawyer

Which group are you talking about ?

Your comment reminded me of a preacher I once new.

He had three daughters.

The first was called Faith.
The second was called Hope.
The third was called Charity.

The group of people who are working with Swedish lawyer for combined law suit against KnC. However my lawyer is also Swedish and filing my case individually.

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Looks more like 18AWG,

Everybody is concerned about the wire gauge but the limmiting factor is the PCI-e power pin.. how much current can that take .. prob. not more than 9Amp at max.. !!(per pin)

well the ones I have wire wise that look like the above pic in structure (no splice) are 16awg so far very cool to the touch
using 2 1200i corsairs each to its own 20amp 220v circuit with triplite 220v surge protector each one

hopefully they ALL will work fine and resolve these problems whatever the source for all of us with Neptunes/Titans

(one less problem to worry about hopefully on the particular KNC units)

I am also joining Magnus Daar's action against KNC

Charlotte C Lin who is running the US class action speaks very highly of Magnus Daar and the two firms are co-counseling.

Looks like its 8 or 9A depending on pin material.  It is also highly dependent on local temps and even the pcb traces it goes into.  The idea behind going to 16awg is really to reduce resistance/voltage drop which in turn lowers the local temp somewhat hopefully increasing the current capacity of the pcb connector a small bit.

All of this is really not necessary if they would just redo the pcb with 2 connectors.  It shouldn't cost much comparatively to constantly doing RMAs.

Tired of substandard power distribution in your ASIC setup???   Chris' Custom Cablez will get you sorted out right!  No job too hard so PM me for a quote

i have to agree with Searing, i got 16awg cables from Cablez and he did absolutely terrific job with those cables... He also made me PSU jumpers that allow me to turn on PSUs without using motherboard cables... the workmanship is outstanding, pcie cables are heavy and pretty thick, couldn't be happier...

Thanks for the update cryptomole. I'm waiting for v1.06 firmware to do some testing for a formal assessment on whether the Titan meets advertised specs before proceeding as I think a claim of non-performance is the best basis for a refund.

Good luck !

I used another lawyer as individual law suit are quicker to resolve. You may need to ship back titans to KnC on your expense since you accepted from UPS. I never signed UPS so they are still holding my shipment and waiting for KnC to respond.

My friend has also engaged a top-flight Swedish lawyer to handle his company's cancelled order. KnC simply stopped responding to his emails asserting his right to cancel due to the units not functioning as per the original specs and, even though he repeatedly told them not to ship the units AND they received a formal letter from his lawyer, continue to ignore the problem and look like they are going to be shipping the units anyway.

He's having a conference call with his lawyer tomorrow and will ask about the best way to handle the situation regarding if/when UPS come knocking.

thanks for the info cryptodevil. KNC seemed determined to force customers to go to court. Not sure that is real smart because if they lose a legal precedent has been set.

good luck !

I just tried solo mining VIA. The Titan sits there in a tight loop spending all of its time flushing and gets all upset
