Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I'm looking it up. Was this an ICO? If so, how many LOOKs have been sold out during the crowdsale? There seem not to be any active exchanges besides cryptopia, which may be the reason that most people get out before doing any research. Cryptopia might not be in their list of trusted exchanges.

So there's currently one guy mining with 1 Ghs mining power, receiving around 1 million coins a day. Current markt cap around 2-5 BTC. And 100 million of total supply of 250 million for grab at 2-3 satoshi. There's no sign of development and dev not responding to questions about it. I'm willing to put in some hash but the dev has to show some commitment to this coin.

I have a few questions about this coin for the developer and/or anyone else who has the answers...
*What kind of marketing is being done to keep the coin active and grow its user base and demand? (Without any marketing push of some kind its unlikely this coin will go anywhere) *Where can I find a link to the developers website? (Without this the coin credibility comes into question.) *Where can I find a link to the blockchain explorer to check transactions? (Again credibility called into question.) *When can we expect the next wallet update? *What exchanges are going to be listing LookCoin in the near future? *What are the plans for the coins future?
Lastly I want to know if anyone has had difficulties with the LookCoin wallet on windows? -My virus software keeps removing the wallet even if I add an exception (using avast) Also no matter where I install the wallet after I run the wallet the first time - the next time I go to run it - it wont work and in order to get it to work I must copy the three .dll files and the LookCoin exe file to the my documents folder and run it from there.
I have tested it on win 7 and 10 both 64bit versions.
I'm not a coin developer but it seems a strange way of doing things, especially for any new coin users or people not very familiar with computers- which will stop a lot of people from even using this coin in the first place. and like a lot of other things with this coin the weird way the look coin wallet works also calls credibility into question.
So I would ask the developer to get back to me and thank you in advance for your time and effort

You are right. Beware, this wallet will very likely infect your computer with a bitcoin miner which will run in the background. Try to uninstall the lookcoin-qt and you'll probably see the next time you are on your computer that it is still running. It is quite successful in defending itself against being removed.

Going to have to buy some for the future when this pumps. What makes you think that ? People habe been saying that for a few months now. One nice thing . If a pump goes on the profit is great even for 1 satoshi increase. But maybe too many stakes by then and all the volume is too high.

Just be careful.
