That virus would be a great BTC printer in the era of CPU mining.

As for today, it needs a lot of luck to be installed on a machine including capable GPU, installing some software (f.e. OpenCL, AMD APP SDK) and make you not notice your GPU is under constant load.

But considering a large number of infected computers, it could still make the cracker smile
