Unable to receive blockchain statistics on multibit

I had a transaction on multibit going through, and after 3 days, and had still not completed the transaction. Upon seeing it had been 3 days, i decided i would go ahead and reset blockchain and transactions to see if that would update it. When i did this, the transaction disappeared, i continue to reset blockchain from my first transaction over and over again, but still no transaction. This worried me so i went ahead and checked out my bitcoin address on blockchain. It said the transaction HAD gone through, and that the address actually had the bitcoins on it. For some reason my multibit wallet will not update to the correct blockchain info. Is there a way to fix this or are my bitcoins lost?

Please help, the bitcoins still will not appear in my wallet. The blockchain still shows the the bitcoins should be in my wallet.
