maybe not the single currency of the future, but anybody with half a brain can see the huge potential that bitcoin has in its future and they can see clearly that none of these short term dramas matter when you stop only thinking about price and start looking at the bigger picture. for example a year ago price was lower than $1000 and now it is more than 8 times higher.
in long term with the growing adoption and all the improvements we will see a much bigger bitcoin than today.

I have also read his announcement, but I doubt if it's going to come true it's too far-fetched and he is just trying to hype Bitcoin, Bitcoin now has too many competitors and restrictions I don't see this happening that can make the world turn around 360 degrees.

With in 10 years? What about the other coins. Bitcoin in the future is a good imagination. But I dont believed that only single cryptocurrency only will be remaining within 10 year. Think about it more guys before they believe in their prediction or speculations about bitcoin.

I don't know but I was quite surprise to hear Dorsey's being bullish about bitcoin, or maybe he has a lot of stakes. But recently, we have seen social media's putting a grip specially on ICO advertisement and I'm expecting that Twitter will be the next social media giants that will follow what Facebook and Google has done. But as far as being the "single currency", well remains to be seen. Although bitcoin has been gaining mainstream acceptance, but its can getting the needed push because of so many FUD's and attacks from government all over the world. To be the "single currency", every country should adopt it. With that said, I don't see bitcoin to be the single currency, although I'm seeing that a lot of people will used it but it will not be the single currency as Jack would have wanted to be.

Wow this kind of news will rock thousand of bitcoin enthusiasts around the world. THough there are many rumors spreading that twitter will also ban cryptocurrency related ads and ICO but still even with this kind of announcement Twitter recognizes bitcoin as a legit and solid cryptocurrency online. I am sure that if this news will spread it is just a matter of time before bitcoins value will climb up again.

Bitcoin can not be alone 10 years later or 100 years later. But for sure there is going to a Bitcoin or other coins in future. We can not use paper money forever this is against the technology to use paper...

Agreed that bitcoin is not the single currency of the future because of the devastating system collapse and transformation of the nature of BTC itself that would need to take place for that to be the case. Also agreed that BTC is here to stay, in our lifetimes at least, as an alternative outside of this system that much can be done with. Twitter’s CEO definitely realizes this, but is currently making strong statements to support their position on not participating in the bans happening now. Another point to raise is the nature of the relationship between the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and twitter. on American companies.
