Does anyone know when the release date will be?
The previous S7 miner was put onto hashnest after around batch 10 or 11.

However, I'm also starting to think that they won't release it to the maket due to the limit of 10 miners per person per batch. Maybe it'll be released in moderation by using the luckyhash system and give that a recharge and generate more money for the owners of Bitmain!

I think they will do it in time.  But I think they would pull every s-7 and drop in an s-9  without telling anyone.

So that for a few months the s-7 'owner' will be hashing with an s-9 and paying for s-7 power rate.

This would line the pockets more for bitmaintech.

So I expect to see the s-9's on hashnest in sept or oct.

all this is based on  no new gear from avalon or bitfury or someone else

They won't do that (use other miners) as they'd have to pay for those miners and it's cheaper just to plug them in and set them up for themselves with their money (as it'd be more profitable)?
Bitmain still need to release their original 16nm miners before releasing new ones!
They may release in september though - but way wait until the S7s go into their redemption period.

I'm assuming they're going to release the S9 after the S7 becomes unavailable to keep people in Hashnest, but it's already a bit late to invest in them. Most of the people on hashnest have left, as they earned a bit of money trading between the different hashpower, and when it boiled down to the S7, they just sold or redeemed and left. I don't see many people in the chat these days, and the hype for hashnest has gone down a bit. The S7's still chugging along, though, so it may be a while before they release the S9 on there. I even speculate that Hashnest will eventually just shut down because of disinterest eventually.

They just released it

I saw them yesterday. I bought 3GHs of them in order to test their profitability and dsee if it's good to get more or not.
The maintenance fee is 30% so it should have profit for quite a while considering there is nothing significant that is known to be happening to increase the rate by a large amount.
Has anyone else profited from these yet?

Also, they released them before the S7 went into the redemption period and also reduced the price for the maintenance fee of the S7 antminers.

i can't comment for sure on s9 profitability.

but i made some bitcoins on the s5.  i got 20btc worth and ended up with 29btc.  i bought right when they released and didn't buy/sell any hashes on the market ... just redeemed them at the end of profitability.

the s9 seems to be in a better position than the s5, so i hope to make even more bitcoin with these.

just want to ask if how long it took you before you get that 29btc from your initial 20btc? i just bought some s9 power and i plan to buy more in the next few days. currently don't wanna sell my s7 hashpower as it is more convenient to use for now because of the price

i could be off by a month or two, but it was around 15 months total that the s5's were running.

i was in a unique situation where i didn't have access to any internet that whole time and decided to take a gamble on hashnest.  i was happy to find 29 bitcoins waiting for me in my wallet when i got back home.  along with a bunch of coupons for s7 hash power.

bitmain definitely treated me right.  i highly recommend them.

don't trust genesis mining though.  i believe that genesis mining has rigged their system and take advantage of people.

It seems this offer is very interesting, I try investment 0.75 btc in bitmain cloud mining, if the results are good I will buying 3 units for mining themselves.
