Hi,

I realize this is not the ideal place to post this, but as a 'newbie', I have to. I am interested in mining but have a problem.

I have version 2011-06-09 of GUIMiner and cannot get my video card to show up as a Device. All that shows up is the i7 CPU.

My machine is an Asus G73JH-A1. The video card is ATi Mobility Radeon HD 5870 3D Graphic Card with 1024 MB GDDR5 VRAM.

I have installed the latest Catalyst package and also installed the OpenCL.msi on it's own.

What do I need to do to get the GPU to show up in the device drop-down?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

I re-installed repeatedly, uninstalled, re-installed, etc. No luck.

download gpu caps and see if the driver is installed correctly.

Also are you selecting the right miner in the drop down tabs?
