spend less on CPU and RAM et more on the graphic cardS
The graphic card is what does the job of mining.
you don't need that wattage for 1 medium graphic card.

Forgot prices and quantities! Added

It's x3 graphics cards. PSU calc says about 750w max. I'm going platinum certified 860w and hoping to run below 80% capacity.

What would you recommend on CPU, RAM, and PSU?

Assuming ALL you want to do is mine BTC:

MB - great choice.  I have 10 of them.  Have had to replace 1 in the past year.

CPU - cheapest AMD CPU I could get.  If you want to also mine Litecoins on the CPU at the same time, a 3, 4 or 6 core (maybe) AMD, if you find a good deal.  Otherwise get the cheapest AMD Sempron.  Not good for much else, but will support a 3 x 7970 mining rig without issues.

RAM - found the least-expensive 2 GIG stick I could find.  Didn't care about the speed. (may care for LTC mingin, but that wasn't the goal at the time, so I didn't ask/check)

CASE - built an open-enclosure, wooden racks that accommodated raised cards with PCIe extenders.  Much cheaper and better for overall airflow, IMO

VID - take the rest of the money you wish to spend, and divide into PSU and GPUs.  Solid GPU is worth it and size it based on the GPUs you can afford, buying cheaper RAM, CPU, and without a case if you want to try to build you own.

Just my 2 cents.  Worked for me.  Good luck to you.

This is strictly a hobby rig for BTC right now. LTC later on possibly. I'm trying to keep it under $1000. Being mindful I don't want PCI risers and will use the machine in the future for LTC and FTP/torrents as well. I have a laptop for daily use.
