I am back now form my main house move, I will get the word out and will be in the slack room tomorrow to chat with you all..Time for another blog review about Insane and I need a non techy explanation about INSANE VELOCITY..
- Velocity is currently in V1.2.1.0-qt but will not be activated until block
35,000- Velocity is a rewritten feature from frycoin known as "Pulse"
- The majority of "pusle" was rewritten to form "Velocity" making it almost a completely unique feature for Espers/Insane
- Constrains the blockchain to the parameters already defined within the code (Espers and Insane are different so each one is unique)
- Acts as a "Triple check" system that checks blocks that seem to be good for inconsistencies and other possible exploits.
- In theory prevents rapid block times, incorrect fees, insufficient balances and other issues being exploited by talented programmers with malicious intent.
- If parameters are not met or have unusual activity the blocks will be rejected
- Makes the blockchain transactions more stable, predictable and overall more reliable. This gives users of the blockchain more confidence that the transactions are not being generated maliciously.
-System does not make the insane chain bulletproof but increases overall security. In the future, Velocity can be expanded to include more checks, more verification and even more stringent security measures.
- Can grown with Insane and be constantly modified no matter how big Insane Coin gets.
