This is going to have bigger implications than we can imagine.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I think it's bad practice to post the address in this manner.  The link you provided should be sufficient.  W00T wikileaks!

Whoa. If you move around the letters in that address, it says "Too Many Secrets." Even more strange, it can also be rearranged to say "Setec Astronomy."

What does astronomy have to do with Wikileaks?

Oh god. Are they about to reveal something about alien life?

Wasn't talking about your post, was talking about Wikileaks taking so long to accept Bitcoin. Cheesy

No, it doesn't.

There's not even a T in the address.

What the hell ever happened to all that dirt on Bank of America they were suppose to give us? My guess is that albino fucker made a deal to stay out of jail on those trumped-up rape charges.

I'm not donating to Wikileaks until they give us that data.  Taking down B of A is more important than Julian's lodgings. I'm just going to assume he's a sell-out until I see more evidence.

WikiLeaks Threatens Its Own Leakers With $20 Million Penalty (about 1,000,000 BTC).

Wikileaks appears claim owership of all of their ill-gotten information. They are no longer an objective 3rd party, if they ever were.

yes I think we all hope that many leaking sites emerge and not all of them are led by charismatic dictators with a thing for getting press. that being said, wikileaks has already done a lot of good and will continue to do so in the future I have faith in that.

A bit. On the other hand, bitcoin is only starting to be taken seriously. Half a year ago the yearly income of Wikileaks foundation was more than Bitcoin's entire market cap.

Well, that just killed their chances of getting my donation.

Bitcoin is the ultimate freedom test. It tells you who is giving lip service and who genuinely believes in it.

I guess that's what they call Nerd Life. It's an arcane art. (in reference to them selling leaks)

I can't blame them for going more mainstream as long as they do not start censoring like the mainstream media in the US.

A bit late to the table, aren't they?

I remember someone posting about half a year ago (can't find the post now) that wikileaks decided to wait deliberately because accepting bitcoin too early would have endagered the still vulnerable currency.
