According to someone I spoke to about my situation with BitVegas I will indeed be getting my BTC back. Let's hope everyone will be in the same boat here. Smiley

could you elaborate a bit more about this?!!!  Huh
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Yup, I have been out of touch for a few days and BTC now is almost $500. Which means I'm owed about $1250. Ugh.

My problem is that most of the BTC that I'm owed came from winning bets that were part of a multi-address bet, and apparently the software did not support that at the time. Those two bets are on the blockchain, but I'm sure that he will just pass the list that he showed here on to the next owner (assuming that happens), and I will not ever see that BTC. Since the site is dismantled now, I have no proof that the addresses I sent to were bets on specific numbers and also no proof that those numbers won. I do have support e-mails dating back to the incident, but meh.

Odds of me getting paid: 0.01%

My 5% stake is still for sale. I will take the best offer, whatever it might be as long as it's worth my time to print, revise, scan and e-mail the new contract. One buyer has reneged, another is not communicating any more.

I would really like to get this off of my plate. Any/all offers considered.

Did anyone ever receive their payouts or investments? I am still owed .8 BTC or more. It was difficult to tell at the time because the site screwed up. If payments are being made please send mine as well. I will take .8 and just live with it.

If not is everyone just leaving scam tag? I haven't done that to anyone but this is clearly one of the worst deals of all time.

Surprised there is still conversation in this forum.  This douche was a scammer way back.  I had 30 BTC in my account that I "earned" as an investor.  I took video of me betting 8 BTC (which was above the "limit" and would hit.. and then no payout.  Sent him video and he said he would check in to it. Bahaha.  Forget it.  Add him to the list of people who make bitcoin look shady.

Bitcoin is not shady, is just that people is stupid and greedy and thus they lose money to scammers.
