Hi all,

I wanted to introduce to you a new bitcoin alerts site http://www.btctrack.com/

https://i.imgur.com/pezPexD.png

I hope the people of bitcointalk find the site useful  Smiley
Any comment or suggestion will be appreciated!

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I appreciate that you have a % change feature, I was almost about to learn python just to make something like that (but then I'm always on the verge of learning python).

I would like to know, when I click "submit", are my alerts saved in a list somewhere, or do I only get the alerts shown on the screen? If they're saved, could we (eventually) see the list see we can manage and delete them? (I know it's lame that my first comment is a feature request, sorry). Alternatively, maybe an option to add a new row of drop boxes for a certain type of alert (but I'm guessing this would be trickier).

Hope you do well and get some donations.

EDIT: received some alerts, as described. Good work!

the alert filters are saved in a database.
passwords are hashed (but still no need to use your strongest password).

thanks you for your kind words Smiley i am glad you enjoy the service Smiley

Awesome tool, how difficult would it be to add other sites/currencies? E.g. btc-x, Litecoins?

where does the data pull from?

mt.gox and code that checks mt.gox site errors (to know if there might be some attack on the site)

Well done and simple!  I like the multiple exchange listings.  This will supplement my Android push notification app nicely.

yep, feel the same way.  Mtgox just changed out their graphing system, but this could be a cool tool.

Thanks!

Can you add the option to have other alert thresholds? E.g. Right now, I can set it to alert me if BTC goes over X, or below Y, or is equal to Z. I'd like to be able to have an alert for all of those conditions, rather than having to pick just one (so I'm alerted if it spikes and if it crashes).

Thanks, signed up and getting alerts.

thanks for your feedback!

more filters were added and sadly bitfloor site alerts were removed.

glad you like the service!

www.BitcoinReminder.com offers also email and sms reminders..
And soon jabber and other notifications systems.. emails are also free at the moment.

It supports the most famous bitcoin exchanges (Mt. Gox, Intersango, VirWox, BTC-e, Bitstamp,...) at the moment and LiteCoin/FeatherCoin, etc will also be implemented soon Smiley

Over the last two years we‘ve been improving BitcoinReminder.com to offer you the best and most reliable service ever.

We’ve been happy to hear lots of positive feedback, but we won’t stop working hard toward leaving the beta phase.

We’ll be out of the beta phase on Wednesday, July 17th, 2013.

To make your BitcoinReminder experience better,
we want to include some new future features after this big change, such as:

  *  More supported markets (bitcoin.de, bitcurex.com, and more)
  *  LiteCoin, FeatherCoins, and other crypto-currencies
  *  Social media (including Jabber, Skype, Twitter, Facebook) notifications
  *  BalanceWatcher (reminds you after receiving BTC on your provided wallet address)
  *  Additional security features, like HTTPS and 2 factor authentication
  *  and more…

But in order to help BitcoinReminder.com improve with these awesome features, we also need to improve our ability to finance them.

The transition out of the beta phase will therefore also include a transition to a new payment model.

In the new system, you prepare for future reminders by purchasing a package of reminders, at a fixed price, all at once. With reminders already purchased for your account, you will never find yourself short of reminders when it matters most.

Packages range in size, and bigger packages are always better value.
You even get an extra bonus when you buy the bigger packages!

The new system has plenty of features that make buying BitcoinReminders easier for you, including the ability to withdraw unused Bitcoins.

For pricing and more on why the new system is better for you, check out http://www.bitcoinreminder.com/pricing/benefits .

After one week, you still get free stuff! Another one-time 5 text/SMS and 5 email reminders will be credited to your account. After this, you can look forward to full, non-beta BitcoinReminder.com.

As you continue to use BitcoinReminder.com with the new payment model, you can count on us to always improve security, reliability, and usability across as many platforms as possible.

By helping us grow, you benefit!

We can’t wait to hear what you think about all of this, or about anything at BitcoinReminder.com.
Drop us a line anytime at http://uservoice.bitcoinreminder.com

Best regards and happy trading,
Peter

We are proud to announce that BitcoinReminder.com now supports Jabber/XMPP notifications.

From now on, you can get notifications over Google Talk or other Jabber/XMPP services.
Just like with email and text/SMS notifications, they will be totally free until the end of the beta phase.
