Nope, but there is a thread here on bitcointalk asking people if they can eat a human to stay alive and alots of the answers accepted to eat a human, so i made this topic asking if that human was your mother and as you see not much replies, only one member who said yes i can eat her if she is dead to honor her , he is a very nice son.

This topic is veeerry tricky. Of course if you think about it, the fact that it's someone close to you, your mother in this case, this topic would be pretty much a taboo for most people. But for me it would situational. Of course i wouldn't eat my mother alive. But for example, like in the movie alive, a plane crash. People died. You're in the middle of nowhere and you have very limited supplies. You wouldn't be left with much of choice but to suck it all up and eat the people who died there whoever they are to stay alive. It's not like you're doing it for leisure i mean who would even arrive at such a thought right? But again it's situational at the extreme level.

We know that in extreme situations people acting by their insticts. I can't imagine what would need to happen that I would eat my mother. As one person already said, I'll better die myself than eat my mother. And I can't understand people who are saying that they would women, who gave him birth.

yeah I know mate and I've already Participated with that topic sorry If I didn't mentioned my mother on my posts but there's nothing to change with what I've said . because it's hell no, if I am not going to earn other human in order to survive how about my mother ? lol even she's already dead I will never ever do it . lol

Assuming there was no food and it was important that I survive to save many people and my mother was dead, I would eat it, No matter how traumatized I was later, if it would save a lot of people I would.

Let's put it this way:

The earth was dominated by aliens and to save the few survivors and the land someone would need to go to the mother ship of the aliens and step on a button that would blow up all the aliens, but this one (in this case I) would be very hungry because there are days that I had not eaten anything, my mother is on my side, she is dead. In that case I would eat her to have strength and complete the mission to save the earth and the people.

But this is no different from the things that rich countries do by invading poor countries to steal their natural resources.

Or what we all do when we kill animals and eat them.

We do a lot of bad things to survive.

I totally understand that it wouldn't be a very pleasant thing to do, but sometimes in survival situations you have to make difficult decisions in order to stay alive.

I reckon a lot of people here would change their mind if they found themselves in a life or death situation with no other options.

It's similar to when mountain climbers hack off their own arm or leg to escape - most people could never bring themselves to do such a thing, but when your life is on the line people prioritise things differently.

The survival instinct of humans is very strong, but we don't see that side of people very often because we've made the modern world so safe and friendly.

I see it as a thought experiment, a hypothetical scenario which will probably never happen, but it is interesting to debate nonetheless.

Have a read of this article, an interview with a guy who was in a plane crash and managed to survive on the side of a mountain, in part by eating the flesh of some of the victims.

We had to eat these dead bodies, and that was it. The flesh had protein and fat, which we needed, like cow meat. I was also used to medical procedures so it was easier for me to make the first cut. The decision to accept it intellectually is only one step, though. The next step is to actually do it. And that was very tough. Your mouth doesn’t want to open because you feel so miserable and sad about what you have to do.

My main issue was that I was invading the privacy of my friends: raping their dignity by invading their bodies. But then I thought, if I were killed I would feel proud that my body could be used for others to survive. I feel that I shared a piece of my friends not only materially but spiritually because their will to live was transmitted to us through their flesh.  We made a pact that, if we died, we would be happy to put our bodies to the service of the rest of the team.

I think that last part is beautiful - what seems initially like a grotesque act, becomes a statement of peace and love to humanity, giving life to friends who would otherwise have died.
