Nice, just the numbers are way off by now....  hard to keep up.

"We are just fools. We insanely believe that we can replace one politician with another and something will really change. The ONLY possible way to achieve change is to change the very system of how government functions. Until we are prepared to do that, suck it up for your future belongs to the madness and corruption of politicians."

Very well made.  This would be a great replacement for the default bitcoin explanation vid we always see on mainstream media.  May go over most peoples heads though.  I think any mention of mining confuses the masses lol.

1st - 50 BTC per found block? Old video??

2nd - the images and animations are nice - but it seems more like a demo of blender or gl effects. Meaning there is only little korrelation between the moving images and what is said (think about the net, where every node has 21 mio on it  Roll Eyes )

Sorry bro, but some half-naked girls might have done the same job.

Finally. Someone with talent steps in to make a bitcoin video that doesn't self serve, promote their own business, or wreak of cultist agendas.

Bravo!

Excellent video!!!

One thing went through my mind, though - mentioning current price, mt.gox, silkroad, 50btc per block, etc... will make this video look very very dated in years to come...

If the creator could make it more "universal", that would be great and timeless.

What are you smoking? This video sucks. A lot of time, the graphics have nothing to do with explaining how bitcoin works.

So in a 3 mins "explaining bitcoin" video your friend chose to spend almost 50 secs on Mtgox , The Dark Web , Tor and Silk Road...

The graphics are nice but the content...

Oh come on, you know good and well a newbie needs spoon-fulls of sugar to help the medicine go down.

If you focus on the inner workings of hashcash and ECDSA you're going to make people think "I can't possibly use this. Where do I sign up for Paypal? That looked easier.."

I hate to ask this but is there any way you can prove that that is actually his address? Perhaps a link to the creator's site?
