I changed price to sell to 2%(but I also tried 1.5%) and price to buy 1%.

During pumps set price to buy lower: 0.6% (NEVER go lower than 0.5 tho or you woudl trade at loss because the fees). You will force your bot to buy faster and get ready to sell during the pump. Faster buy for the pump corrections too that might NOT go so lower as 1%

Another thing i will analyze soon is the importance to create a portfolio: this week end has been ever worst than the previous because a worse BTC/USD correction and alts being late to respond (last but not the least the XMR fork and red).

So, creating your own portfolio with your GUNBOT, helps to balance altcoins up and down. For example: i got some PM from people trading ONLY XMR with their bot...you can imagine the tone of those PM  this morning when they woke up
Well, XRM has been at -13% today: if i was only on that pair i would have banged my head over my desk like a crazy man
What if i had SC, LBC or ARDR on my GUNBOT too? Of course these are edges and i really do not suggest to trade such coins with ANY bot: trade them manually if you really like it. But the concept is: creating your own portfolio overtime, will help you to balance yoru profits on a long-term profit strategy

Thanks for the info. And I'll also add this to my trading experience, I usually trade with 11-15 pairs running, so I do get a good variety of investments. And right now I have SC running lol, but it has been successful with SC. LBC looks risky, I wouldn't mess with that.

Is there a way to ensure it does not exploit login info, or that it won't just send funds to some random address?

Of course: login info are not used on poloniex API calls at all (Reference) and rule of thumb for your API key (clearly exposed on the bot manual) DO NOT ENABLE WITHDRAWALS on your polo API keys and you are safe enough.

Been playing with the settings quite a bit during that time. But looks to be doing okay. not as great as some others but something is better than nothing

EDIT: he sent me his trading history. He is doing pretty good, despite the fact i have said multiple times to not trade satoshis coins with your GUNBOT like DGB, DOGE etc: they have a ugly rounding, you trade at loss because the fees there, trade them manually. Unless you put % of gain way higher (which is unlikely to give you enough trades in the short term). I suggested to raise min % to sell to 2%. What i like of this user is that he built a nice protfolio with over 20 pairs to trade.

Sometimes, if you trade manually or "cancel" some orders from the book, the poloniex callback to the bot, never arrives. I've added a debug message on my test box to see what happens and i'll push an update soon as i get a fix for that. Whiletime, if you trade manually and/or cancel orders using polo website, please be sure that the status of the bot is like this:

1.- enough coins to trade message
2.- price to sell with "waiting for buy orders..." message
3.- available alt balance = 0.0000000

If those are not matched after your manual trade/cancel order, please restart your pair instance for now.

Personally, I think there should be a "Safe mode" where when the bot would regularly set in a buy order it would pause to take a longer look at the direction of the altcoin, to see if the coin was crashing or settling at a lower price or not. Profit would take longer in this mode, but would make the risk less, if this was possible it could be used for long term users of this bot that don't check in often or don't go manual often. Not sure how possible this is to program, im sure the algorithm would be hard to make but would be a nice feature if made. I don't really know what factor's would need to be looked at by the bot to determine the price would be ultimately lowered.

Sweet and desmirnov suggestions are very interesting and i have followed Sweet issue on Telegram with him so i understand what he is asking for. I have to be honest tho, i am debating with myself about that feature, for 2 reasons (and IMO an honest and open talk with all of you, would be great to decide about it):

1.- The fact the bot buys in any market condition as long as EMA1 and EMA2 indicators are following the bot strategy. makes it an unemotional tool to face up both short-term trades (daily/hourly/minutely sometimes) AND MIDDLE-TERMS trades. For example: my bot bought some STEEM during a rally and hold them until 2 days ago when STEEM came back on 2 weeks ago levels. I understand the rush for short-term trades but in my opinion, what we really need, is not "to stop" the bot but, instead, to be able to modify those SELL orders in order to gain more profit in case of MIDDLE-TERMS trades. In other words: if i can accept 1% of profit for an intraday trade, i might want a 5% weekly or more. To "stop the bot" is really against my own feelings indeed, i'd rather prefer to find a way to change this into an opportunity for a better gain over a different time frame.

2.- You know if you are on a bullish or bearish trend, only AFTER it happened.........................................

Your bot is already able to do that, but you dont know I coded that feature and it is in yoru bot, what is missing is the GUI option to let you use any poloniex market rather than BTC. I'm pushing the changes before the end of january but if you really wanna use that feature exactly NOW, PM me or come on Telegram and i will guid you tru
Sorry about the updates guys but again: personally i need to be 1000% sure about each single line of code before to distribute the release. Despite i like often to joke wih all of you in PM i'm handling people money with this code and i feel the responsability of it.
