ISIS using Bitcoin? Yes, the American government is using Bitcoin! ISIS and the US government are the same entity.

Bitcoin could just go fully underground then and become even less regulated.

But once Bitcoin is underground, how will anyone know if the government still isn't pulling the strings?

Very soon, many exchangers will be raided and closed (most of them from USA)

The attacks from France will bring the subject from below in discussion again :

Sounds like FUD/BS. BTW ISIS issued (or planned issuing) gold and silver coins. Should we ban gold and silver to foil their evil plans Smiley? Probably you can find far more ISIS supporters who donating all kinds of fiat money (incl. USD) to them than supporters who using BTC.

Bitcoin is money, so naturally it can fund anything.  I wouldn't be interested in bitcoin if there was some way it couldn't.

Cash is also a way to fund terrorism
I don't hear of anyone advocating the banning of cash

Bitcoin is a way to prevent the most common financing method of terrorism: monetary supply fraud.

Terrorists can receive dollars, euros, gold, drugs or even Bitcoin, but it's not a question of the currency.
The same thing is with messengers - open all conversations for intelligence agencies because they can be used by terrorists. Really? Can they use emails or calls? Of course, they can and this is the question of the total control, not about security.

Fiat, the way to finance slavery. ISIS understands this. But the slaves of the banks don't.

no doubt this time the means of payment has been very diverse.
Anything that is valuable can be a transaction tool, bitcoin as a transaction tool used by terrorists? Why not?
let alone the advantages of transacting with bitcoin, which is very difficult to detect.
it becomes more value to transact let alone terrorists, those hidden organizations.

Anything in the world, money, faith, bitcoin... can be used for good or bad.
I think that US government should punish terrorists, not bitcoin network.
Any way, there is no central bank or government behind bitcoin, everything is decentralized, so US government can't do much to stop btc!

Maybe but it is not the reason to ban bitcoin.

If ISIS use USD, are you going to ban USD?
