What is real freedom in your view? Are you getting it?

Many people misunderstood the word "freedom" as to being able to do what the hell you want, but it's not, these people is talking about the word "license" but not "freedom". Why? True Freedom lies within the perosons actions, you may do whatever you need to do but be sure to take resposibility to it. Lets say you can kill a person, you can easily do that but be sure to face the consequences, every action we make has different outcomes. Freedom is to being responsible to your actions, while license is to being able to do what you want.

I agree with you.
In fact, freedom comes together with responsibility.
Without responsibility, there is no real freedom.
For example, we are free to jump from the window and kill yourself but with such action we will destroy ourselves.
So, we can't separate freedom and responsibility.
Many people feel that freedom is to do anything in their life, experiment with alcohol, drugs... but in sch way their just ruin their life.
True freedom comes only with responsibility.

Real freedom is the ability to speak without having violence done to you.

When violence threatens frespeech there is no debate of ideas. When there is no debate of ideas it causes division among groups and they grow radicalized. When you grow radicazlied bad things happen.

That is why people need to be able to freely speak without havin violence done on them. The good and virtious side will win and the bad mean side will lose in the end. Free speech is the only mechanism to help keep that going, otherwise people turn to violence when they cannot be heard.

Real freedom in my opinion is the ability to do everything within legal limitations and confined without any inhibition. The question of legality in itself bring into the issue of absolutism in freedom. But real freedom to me espouses the ability to do anything according to your will and not be restrained and the possession of the capacity to act in accordance to your will.

The press and the Broadcast media are controlled by private institutions and governments.
Schools and universities, that shape the way we think, in many cases as well.

What really freedom is ? Every morning when your get up think once do you really have freedom? You may be tied up with your job,family,college,university,school,problems in life. Then think once what really freedom will be? No tension, no fear in mind. That's the life we life we want to live ,don't we ? And we can make it possible. Real freedom is not dependent on (only)material freedom.(Free from oppression)Freedom is when you own yourself. the four types of Freedom are: 1)Material Freedom – free from cost, cost as labor or effort or money
2)Physical Freedom – a literal freedom of action and movement, constrained only by the laws of physics
3)Metaphysical Freedom – literal volitional freedom unrestrained by the laws of physics, being able to do absolutely anything you wish instantly without effort.  Includes being free from being forced to do something against your will by the laws of nature.  Metaphysical freedom is a philosophical impossibility.
4)Political Freedom – Freedom from being forced to do something against your will by someone else.  All i want to say is that mind can become our  best friend or worst enemy

For me true freedom is living your life without fear. It doesnt really mean living the life you dream or living the way you want it.Or living a life with no restrictions. But freedom is living your life as you should be. Living a life that has no fear of failing, rejection, or judgement because you know you've done your best and you make out of everything this life had given. Freedom is breaking out from fear and start really living.

For me freedom is, when i don't have to worry about anything else but to lift up everything to God and let Him take control of everything i can't control. The idea of freedom being free of work loads and responsibilities is not really freedom for me. That is laziness. In life we need to grow, we need to improve and make ourselves better. No struggle

It does sound familiar. Surrendering to what we are.  But it all depends on how freedom is defined. We could have an entire debate on whether humans even have free will. Whether we are the authors of the next thought we have or if we are victim to involuntary thoughts and reactions.

The real freedom is no one dictate you what you will gonna do in your life it is like it is your free to live and do what ever you want unless you don't do bad things like taking some bad drugs. Freedom doesn't need money like what i mentioned earlier freedom is all about free will.
