Does the current alpha version of Gateless Gate support an AMD R9 Fury X? I installed it on an up to date Windows 10 Pro machine and at first I had a pop up message saying to set the paging file to at least 24 GB - this would pop up with a "ding" and then disappear, only to repeat over and over every 2 seconds until I would restart the computer. After bumping the virtual memory up to 30 GB that message no longer appears, but it will just have the black circle show up as if the program is starting to load, only for it to go away and reappear every 2 seconds until restarting the computer again. I'm using 17.9.3 drivers on that computer. Do I need to install any particular addons, drivers etc... thanks
I have exactly the same problem that Elder III has on one of the rig. GGS load, find an error, reload, etc And there is no solution than using something else to mine monero And I'm using AMD latest driver, not the blockchain one unistalled, removed all the registry with an uninstaller, nothing work

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

So, for the x16r should I revert back to stock settings or I can run it with my ETH bios mod?

All I can say is that you can always try at your own risk.

Still, even with this version when I run the benchmarking test I do not see any values about the different algos and the speeds... How to fix this zawawa?

@Murgox in order to have GGS make the benchmarking its mandatory that a wallet is inserted in each Coin in the Default pool section. If not , it won't start, at least for me, certain algos @Invisble I run it with my Phoenix miner setup untouched, may be it run better with stock but I haven't the time to test. @Zawawa https://imgur.com/H9Yf0GgI am not sure I have the rights to place image but...

Hows the speeds on Ethereum compared to Claymore?
Hows the speeds on Cryptonote compared to SRBMiner?
Anyone have any insights?
Thanks, -J

Why not use some template to get some Info together ? -> Problem Reporting Template for GGS Version 1.3.x

zawawa, return back cryptonight binaries, please. Or fix possibility to rebuild them in GGS. And I don't understand, why GGS with modded bios works fine, but if I try to apply in GGS timings same as in bios mod, GGS give BSOD....

When mining Ravencoin (X16R), what speeds does this miner give with RX 580 and Vega 56 cards?

@Mk111 Vega I don't know. RX 580 8gb its closed to 8 Mh/s average but you have to let optimize algo run and then select the parameter faster for you. Some curd run better stock than mod.
@Littlegrand Hows the speeds on Ethereum compared to Claymore? Slower
Hows the speeds on Cryptonote compared to SRBMiner? Rx 570 modded eth, is little bit shy of 1000 h/s if you run optimize first. I haven't yet tested the timing optimization

zawawa, return back cryptonight binaries, please.
This will not happen. The miner needs to create binaries dynamically. Or fix possibility to rebuild them in GGS.
The problem is your computer/CPU is just too slow, unfortunately. I will look into workarounds, but it may take a while. You could build binaries with CodeXL, but you need to know what you are doing. And I don't understand, why GGS with modded bios works fine, but if I try to apply in GGS timings same as in bios mod, GGS give BSOD....
The recent AMD drivers do not necessarily use all the values in the BIOS, so you really have to spend a lot of time tweaking timings. You can always check current values for memory timings by clicking "Print Memory Timings" on the "Log" tab page.

Ok. Please look at this. Launching is realy long without binaries... In optimization to recieve normal speed it's need to make every step at least 60-90 sec, because 1st 30 sec threads starting... And I don't understand, why GGS with modded bios works fine, but if I try to apply in GGS timings same as in bios mod, GGS give BSOD....

Next step now - possibility to copy current timings to GGS timings tab. Due to this it would be not so hard to modify timings... And remind you about best cryptonightV7 intensity for 580 8Gb is 128 - not 131. And alilgnment of memory type name. And minimum fan % allow to set 0.

I discovered that I had to exit Afterburner for GatelessGate to start. It's not too surprising considering all that G.G. does behind the scenes, but it would be nice to have a pop up window telling the user to close any overclocking/monitoring software... perhaps in a future end release? So far I only tested X16s on a R9 Fury X and it was doing ~6.7 Mh/s at stock settings and -50% power limit. I had it "Boost Performance" and it did gain around 10-15% but the hashrate fluctuated allot more so I think the net boost was probably less then that. It also raised the power to +120%, so I reverted back to my initial settings. I'll try to run the whole benchmark set when I have some free time in front of that desktop again.
